  2. Reeds don't have much of a power gain, more of a throttle response mod.
  3. I believe it has to have a load put on the wheels when doing a plug chop.

  5. heres some more of their relation http://detroit.craigslist.org/rvs/1029541191.html
  6. To me it sounds like your mains are a bit to small. 1/4 to 3/4 throttle is controlled by the needle, WOT is controlled by the main jets. I'm running pods, pipes, ported stock cages w/boyesen reeds and i'm running 320 mains 3rd clip 27.5 pilots and a tad lean on top because of the temps here, but I havent had a chance to get her out this winter. Aftermarket reeds will make a big difference on your throttle response for sure, my ported stockers made a noticable difference. VF3's I would imagine are better ten fold.

    Axle

I'm looking for a stock axle. I have all the extras, just need a straight axle with good splines/threads. Money's tight, so if anyone has one lying around for cheap shoot me a price. thanks

  11. I think they look like T-3's
  12. I had horrible issues with trying to get the sprocket hub off, took me about 3 weeks of soaking in PB blaster and beating on it with a 3 lb rubber mallet. Which bent the sprocket fingers to hell and I had to buy another. I took the long route because I have no access to a torch, which would have worked so much easier for me. Listen to MikeNick and heat that sucker up till it's red, then rip on it. Heat does wonders.
  13. I used a 3 lb rubber mallet, beat the effin crap out of it. But still it didn't budge. How much play is the spacer supposed to have?
  14. There isn't much space at all between the spacer and the bearings. Both seals sit in flush too . This is what the seal is hitting: This is how far I can get the carrier on:
  15. Anyone??? I popped the seal back off and slid the carrier on to see what was stopping it and the inner ring of the bearing is hitting the brake hub. This cannot be right because when i threaded on one of the axle nuts it completely covered the only showing threads, and no way could I thread the second nut on. The only thing I could think is that the bearing isnt into the carrier far enough and its stopping it from going all the way on, but I took a punch an went around the outer edge of the bearing and its not budging any more.
  16. I just got and installed my axle seals today and tried putting the carrier on the axle, I got it to where there is about an inch gap between the carrier and the rotor. I dont think thats normal, maybe i'm wrong. Before I took the carrier off to change the bearings it was almost flush with the rotor, but that was with pretty messed up bearings. Let me know what you guys think

    Bolts

I'm almost finished puttin the shee back together, but i effed up the threads of the top bolt (I believe it is the bigger of the two) where the carrier bolts to the swingarm. I've been searching ebay but i'm not paying 17 bucks for two bolts, one of which i have no use for. If anyone has an extra bolt they'll let go for a resonable price let me know. Thanks

    Seals

Just checkin around here to see if anyone has an extra set of axle bearing seals they will get rid of before I turn to ebay. I've got the bearings, just need the seals.

  20. Awesome guy to deal with! Great price for great products, fast shipping too. Thanks for helpin a fellow HQ'er in need
  21. I got it figured out, the blaster won't fit the banshee. The key ways that hold them are different.
  22. Will the shift star for a Blaster work on a Banshee?? I was going through some old Blaster parts and found a shift star, it looks damn similar to that of a Banshee.
  23. Is the hub a 6 bolt? How are the bearings in the carrier? I'll keep you in mind NYUK when it comes time to buy Thanks
  24. Just lookin for a stock carrier and hub, nothin fancy.
