  1. Is the timing plate adjustable??? if so i want dibs on it and the stock reeds. Would you take 25 shipped???

My elevation is 650 ft and it can range from 70-95 degrees, also i moved the needles to the 4th clip and the midrange pick up and response got better but i have the air screws almost all the way in (maybe 1/2 turn from seated) and it wont idle and is really boggy from idle to about 1/8 throttle. I have 280 mains in and when im WOT in 5th and 6th the power goes flat and the revs keep climbing I'm thinking i should go with 27.5 pilots and 300 mains

  5. Hey guys, i dropped the the needle clip down one and put my 280's back in and had to adjust my air screws. The air screws are 1 turn from seated and when i hit the throttle it bogs a bit. I'm thinkin it's time to put some 27.5's in. I warmed it up ripped it down the road and it ran good until i hit 5th and 6th, then the power went flat and it kept revving. im guessing thats a lean condition so maybe i'll throw in some 300's. Let me know what ya think If anyone has some 27.5's they're willing to part with shoot me a price
  6. Yes, i removed the left carb put my new needle in put it back together and did the right one after i put the left one back on. Yep i made sure that when the retainer plate was in i could see through the little hole in both slides. I'll try one clip down on the needles and throw my 280's back in. Thanks for the help guys, i'll report back when i test it out!!!

  8. I'm at about 650ft, temps from 70-95, fuel mixed at 32:1, stock pilots, air screws 1 1/2 turns out, needle is on 3rd clip
  9. I just put on some fmf fatty gold series pipes and pc2's along with uni pods w/outerwears. I bought the stage 3 dynojet kit and followed the recommended jetting and threw in the 280 mains and I was pulling white plugs so i tried the fat 340's and still the same, when i hit 6th and it starts pulling there is a slight lag, then it revs and pulls all the way to the top. I am now running 390 mains, the lag is better, but the electrode still is more white than brown. I am having withdrawals from my shee!!!! Ayn help would be much appreciated, it's been down for a month and I am having withdrawals from her.
  10. I'm having some trouble with my jetting and cannot figure the shit out, i bought some uni pod's w/ outerwears and fmf fatty gold series with pc2's. As recommended by a local atv repair shop i purchased a stage 3 dynojet kit to compensate for my mods, well i followed the recommended settings (280 main for pipes and individual filters and some fat 340's for modded engines) and it ran leaner than hell with the 280's so i fattened it up to some 310's, warmed her up, and threw in some new plugs. Ripped it down the road in 6th at WOT killed it rolled in and pulled the plugs and yet again lean!! Next i tried the 340's that came with the kit for the mod engines, ripped it down the road checked the plugs and again the electrode was white. I'm lost as ALL F*#K as to what the deal is with my shee's jetting. If anyone has any clue as to what my prob might be please let me know Thanks

  15. Alright guys, all your help has been great but the DOUCHEBAG whom i bought the pipes and silencers from, sold the entire quad on me and a few others who had bought from him. So nix the pipes and silencers for now, until i happen upon another $130 set of pipes/silencers :biggrin:

  19. OK i just bought some uni pod's, FMF gold series fatty's and toomey silencers, the rest of the bike is bone stock. I'm at about 650 ft above sea level and its between 70-95 degrees where i'm at,I'm running stock carbs with 200 mains and 25 pilots. Anyone have suggestions on where i should have them jetted at?? thanks

  22. Alright fellas, I took the air box out, put the 230 mains in, adjusted the pilot screws and threw the pods on. It's a bitch and a half to try and start cold and when it finally does warm up it won't idle like it's supposed to, and when i give it some throttle it bogs way down and makes deep sucking sound and doesn't pick up until i get on the throttle. Will i need to put some 27.5's in???? I warmed her up and ripped her around the yard for a bit and then pulled a plug and it was nice and golden brown on the electrode but the area on and around the first few threads on the plug were completely black and wet.
