  1. I'm in need of a Sprocket Hub and a bearing Carrier, just seeing what people have and what they want for it before I head on to Ebay. Let me know what you have and a price Thanks
  2. I found a 4 bolt sprocket hub for a pretty reasonable price, i'm currently using a 6 bolt hub and sprocket. Is there any chance that I can use my 6 bolt sprocket on the 4 bolt hub?
  3. I miss the shoutbox

    Axle Nuts

Curious if anybody has a couple axle nuts floating around they'd get rid of. Maybe just for shipping if possible. thanks
  8. Awesome i'm not to far from a napa, how much am I lookin at for the bearings and seals?
  9. That would be great if i could run up to the parts store and grab a couple bearings for cheap, Can I get the seals there too? Anyone know the numbers for em?
  10. OK I put it up on a jack stand and started to spin the axle and it started to bind a bit. I can move the axle up and down about a 1/2 inch too. I think we found the culprit  When I Buy the new bearings do i have to buy seals for the bearings or would something like this work..http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Banshee-Rear-Axle-Bearing-Set-of-2-NEW-Bearings_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ150287893005QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessor ies
  11. You may be right, I did notice that when I stood up on the pegs and wiggled side to side it was kinda sloppy in the rear. What would I look for when I spin the axle?
  12. Definitely clutch or trans related, but i can't for life of me figure this out. The engine runs like a champ, so I don't think it should be jetting.
  13. I just got my shee running for the first time in a few months, and a problem still persists. When I try to take off from a complete stop it starts to bog, lose power, and not want to move unless I rev it up pretty high. Then there is the mystery noise, it will screech a tiny bit once in a while. I pulled the entire motor, tore off the bottom end, and found nothing visibly wrong. I put her back together got it started and now I am back where I started. The quad runs awesome but only acts up when I take off and while moving. I'm freakin lost on this fellas, PLEASE HELP!!
  14. Ok thanks guys, when I get some more free time i'll put oil and coolant in it and try and start it. Another question for you guys, what would cause my kickstart to not grab and it to stick in the down position after i kick it? Is it just out of adjustment?
  15. I haven't tried to start it yet, just rolled it. I had to drain the oil and antifreeze so I could adjust the clutch, I never put any oil back in it in case it still wasn't right. No it's the original clutch still.
  16. I finally got my clutch adjusted right and the only gear i can get it to roll like it's supposed in is 6th. When i pull the clutch in and shift it into 6th it rolls fine, until i start to shift down then with each gear i go down it gets harder and harder to roll. Anyone have any clue to what would cause this??
  17. It wasn't stripped as bad as i thought it was, I got it to adjust just fine with a little work.
  18. I got the arrows lined up perfect on the top of the case, pulled the clutch lever in put it in 1st and tried to roll it. When i did it just stopped. I can shift through all the gears and neutral with a little bit of rocking. It's like my clutch is still not disengaging, the pressure plate moves just fine when I pull the lever and the pull feels right.
  19. When I tried to align the arrows by adjusting the screw it had to be to the point that there was no clutch pull, just kinda loose and floppy. Is that where adjusting the clutch handle that I stripped comes into play?
  20. Nope, no clymers. I've been using the manual that you can download from the HQ. Well I think I'm gonna need a new clutch handle, because I stripped the adjusting screw. Are the arrows on the top of the case supposed be aligned while the clutch lever is being pulled or not pulled? And yes of course i had everything back together and full up on fluids and had to drain them all again :shoothead:
  21. My clutch acts like its not disengaging when I pull the clutch lever, it will be in gear and i will pull the clutch and the wheels just lock when i try and roll it. When it's in neutral it rolls just fine.
  22. Well i got the clutch pull I wanted, but when i pull the clutch in the only thing that moves is the pressure plate. Did i miss something??? I thought the plates were supposed to separate when i pull the clutch? Also the engine will not start anymore, i only tore the bottom end off and left the top whole. It has great spark but it doesnt seem to be getting any fuel to the spark plugs, the carbs sat for a few months. I'm thinking they need a good cleaning since they sat so long but am not for certain.
  23. Ok I pulled the clutch cover back off and the pressure plate, the ball is still there and the arrows are aligned. When i put the plate and springs back on still no clutch, i noticed that when i push the part with the nut on that is directly behind the plate and old it then pull the clutch there is resistance. I tried tightening and loosening the threaded screw part but it kept tryin to strip on me. Any ideas guys?
  24. By "push lever" I mean the part that the clutch cable hooks to and operates
