  1. He said he had 20cc 4mil domes. That would be race gas domes. A 4mil cut dome for pump gas would be in the 24cc range Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  2. Honestly it sounds like you cooked the top end. If it had 180 psi you are well past pump gas. What brand compression gauge are you using? If it's a cheap one it might be giving you a bad reading. The plugs backing out is a sure sign of detonation. Before you tear the motor down at all, do a leak down test also. It will tell you if you have any air leaks Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  3. You could sell the domes you have and get new ones cut, OR run 110 octane. DO NOT run the domes you have now this 93 octane Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  4. A 20cc stock stroke dome vs a 20cc 4mil dome is huge. I ran pretty much the same setups. 165 psi with stock stroke domes and about 185 psi with the stoker domes. With the 20cc stoker domes I had to run 110 octane. I switched to 23cc stoker domes and had about 160 psi and ran 93 octane Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  5. You would have to check your squish and compression Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  6. Ok. So if they are cut and you want to run pump gas, you will need different domes Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  7. Are you running a spacer plate or cut domes? If you are running cut domes, 20cc domes are too small for 93 octane. You would need 23-24cc domes Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  8. Mikuni. So try a 27.5 pilot, middle clip, maybe go to a 300 main just to be safe and 2 turns out on the air jet Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  9. Two different brand of carbs means the jet sizes are different between the two. Mikuni carbs and keihin carbs use specific jets to each other. Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  10. What brand carbs are the duals and what brand is the single Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  11. You should be around a 27.5 pilot and a 290 main Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  12. Even if the arms weren't long travel, they still got the length of the arms wrong. On the order it says +2 not +3 Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk

  15. Mikuna and keihin carbs use different size jets. 280 sounds like a mikuna size jet Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  16. A business card works well Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  17. 12/41 is way too short of gearing for dessert racing. You should probably be at least 14 front. You could probably go 15 front and fine tune with the rear Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
  18. I believe it's a n68a needle Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
