  3. same size plugs as a car yeh i would say 90% chance its the carbs.. give them a real good going over but as said b4 try new plugs i brought an 02 shee here in australia for $1500.. that was a steel.. prob like picking 1 in the US for 500ish the guy said it wont even start its fucked.. it had been sitting for months .. i did what u have done aswell as drained some fuel through the carbs.. and it did just what yours is doing... wouldnt start or if you got it started it would die and wouldnt idle.. cleaned the carbs.. and its running great!! and has been for months.. now is the gfs shee
  4. i would say.. read your book.. then have ago at the carbs.. cleaning them out and clearing the jets till there as good as new then id say your bike will start and idle but it wouldnt help to compression test your bike to see where its at.

  7. wisco are one of the best.. maybe there was pistion slap causing the crack? check the bores are round and in spec
  8. i think AK is right here... the bowls have to have an overflow tube on both sides.. or that would just be silly but they would only have 1 choke tube as there is only 1 carb with a choke control
  9. with and without the bottle.. no realy diff in power.. just the boost bottle will crack your boots from the extra weight and rocking then the bike runs lean and issues will follow so ppl run the stock tube to be safer and Welcome to BHQ

  17. sounds like your petcock is passing.. maybe try filling ur tank . then having the petcock closed take the fuel line off and see if feul dripps out and x2 on the other stuff they said

  21. yes you will get a much better improvement all round with porting than carbs (porting and pipes are the 2 biggest improvement mods) atm your bike will go a little better with bigger carbs.. but will take power away from your bottem end and u wont have to upgrade your carbs after porting. tho with porting carb upgrade will get you some more power i would safely say.. go porting

  23. a little stronger down low... but looses alittle off the top . more power gains down low than loss off the top cheap easy mod.. worth the $60
