  1. hows the jetting looking crusty? lean? hopefully its something like that with the 4mill..
  2. when u say it wont rev out... is it reving clean? or little soft splutters? pulling hard till mid rev then stopping??
  3. i dont know about trinity pipes... but cpis come on late and hard and rev out like a mad man
  4. cpis will work on a stock banshee... but vforce reeds are high rev reeds like cpi pipes are so it will work better than stock if ur a dragger or flat out rippin it.. get cpis i did... and i trail sometimes to if u could afford it.. get the shee ported for cpis at the same time.. then feel ur head rip off when u rev her right out
  5. when your flogging along at full throttle CPI's will kill T5s.. but when ur not in band and pulling like a rockst... cpis are crap.. no low end .. t5s are a better overall pipe... unless u ride in band ALL the time
  6. i would use a drill bit if u have blunt drill bit thats even better. clamp your carb then use a SLOW speed on a drill.. or if u have a removeable chuck on ur drill take it off then push with a little force and drill into the plastic. and because its plastic and not jammed in there it should grab and thread all the way through to the inside of the carb where u can just pull it out (make sure u dont use a big drillbit where ull take out the threads) if that dont work u can use an ezy out (bolt extractor) if that dont work drill it to the size of the hole and pick out the threads or tap it through.. then call jeff at F.A.S.T and get some brass idle screws
  7. get what ever pipes sute your riding style and sound u like.. take the muffers apart replace the tube inside with the same size but non drilled tube so they take away no sound from what coming out of the headers... reinstall on ur bike.. then watch every1 giving you evils can pulling the finger because your bike is loud because the bike areas will someday close down because of the noise

  10. i got a allen key set from jeff at F.A.S.T and they look as new as the day i got them 1 1/2 years ago.. im pretty sure there a cascade set use jeff.. hes very helpfull
  11. you dont need to run the stops. if u did the reeds wont perform well have u got the boyson duel stage reed ones?? please leave a review of how much better they perform.. with your bike mods to. theres not many reviws on these reeds around and it would be nice to hear some reviews thanks Dave
  12. i went from 26mm to 28mm then to pwk33s and it really gave the bike a kick in the ass good upgrade
  13. what pilot and needle setting? 160 seems a rich.. ive got 155 main. on pwk 33s and im still rich.

  16. ok ive got a banshee mods: Dune porting...Cool head 19cc domes...+2 deg timing...Billet intakes...33mm Pwk carbs...K&n 6" filters...CPI inframe SB...V-force 3 reeds + reed stuffers my question is .. if i went to chariot performance reed cages/boyson duel stage. will i get a better mid power? i swapped from fmf stts to cpis and lost alot of mid.. just wondering if that could be a way to get some back. ... or any ideas on getting more mid
  17. hey dirty.. its yamaha.. when i got my sst's it came with 260's and told u to leave the pilots and needles stock.. my guess is thats what they have done. i ended up with 290 mains and 27.5 pilots needles on the 3rd. when i have k&n and stts with no lid

  19. if all u bave done is the pipes and taken off the lid... where u ride.. 260 will be on the money.. or close to it it wouldnt hurt to do a quick plug chop when u go for a ride.. even if u just look down the plug to see the smoke ring..
  20. im at sea level and about 24 deg C yeh i change the jetting a little with the cpis ill try dropping the sizes then
  21. ok ive installed cpi inframe sb's on my banshee its sweet down low and in band but just as/b4 it hits band its stuttering (like a faulty plug) then hits band and cains any ideas what my issue is? and ive stuck new plugs in sparks good 160 mains 3mm smoke ring on plug chop 48 pilot CEL needle on the 3rd pwk 33mm trail/dune port k&n 6" filters thanks dave

  25. if that was a true plug chop looks rich but if its running better...its better to be rich than lean.. maybe the pipes are only a little hotter due to the motor working with the porting thats been done? id just drop a size down till the smoke ring is around the 2mm try 160s
