  4. bad CDI could be no spark... a spark now and not in 5secs .. start and stop again anytime.. buy a dyna cid.. then if its not that... its an upgrade haha :0 u know any1 white a banshee u could swap n try?

  6. leave it on... then drag some1... when u beat em .. tellem its all because of the boost bottle... then make a straight swap for there cross over tube
  7. on my gfs bike its just a k&n filter and reeds .. im running 25 pilot and 250 mains.. and thats still just a tad lean. when i got it it had 220s.. and would not start without "start yo ba@$terd spray" like urs also when i had a stock shee with fmfs and filter i ran a 290 main 27.5 pilot. im at sea lvl. so u could be lean

  10. hey i have a agro/trail port on my stock stroke shee would there be any probs running a spacer plate for a 4 mill? also if i wasnt goin to run a plate is it just a matter of dropping the ports 2 mill? i live in australia.. aint many 4 mill builders to get the good info off.. thanks Dave
  11. i had one of these crappy stators till today.... my bike would run like crap in band and lights were no brighter than 2 candles on the front of my bike.
  12. b8es plugs umm its only just started to happen... had the stator for ages and yeh it runs fine tilll high rpm but as the plugs fail it stutters near high rpm and wont rev itll hit band then miss fire etc.. put plugs in and away it hammers again
  13. my banshee is killing plugs like every ride.. spark is good jetting seems good on plug chop and after rides comes out a nice tanned/choc colour... any pointers on where to look? or relook my mods are in the sig to.
  14. ahhh thanx for the replys... ill rip her down in the next few days and check all the parts... its a 1998 so could be well worn... but it was all stock as till last year when i brought it and modded it :biggrin:
  15. hey ive added some power.... now my clutch cant handle it ... haha so was going to order a h/d clutch... any stand out from the rest... what other mods should i do while in there.. shift star .... pancake bearing... anything else?? thanks
  16. hey ive just fitted pwk33mms on my bike... for any1 who wants to know the outcome well... mods are coolhead 19cc domes play/woods port +4 deg timing fmf sst pipes wisco prolite 65mm Vforce 3 reeds did have some rd350 carbs 28mm K&N in box filter no lid well ive fitted the carbs (pwk33mm) with a new billet intake and reed stuffers and duel pingle from Jeff as F.A.S.T modded my stock airbox with the k&n with no lid 48 pilot jet 155mains.. all tunned up... i take it for a ride... i cant believe the power differance.... its one of the biggest power gains ive got from any mods.. loosess a lil down low.. but hit band and it flys... to any1 thinking of the mod.... do it... my bike is a completely different bike

V-force 3 reeds boss crossover intake 33mm pwks with k&n filters x2 trail/dune port coolhead 20cc domes fmf sst pipes and turbine core mufflers wiseco 65mm prolite pistons i live in australia with average temp of 28 degress celsius thanks for anyhelp!!!
  20. ive been looking for a boss built in crossover intake for some pwk 33mm carbs... i see ones for 34-35mm 26-28mm but no 33mms.. any help?? where can i buy some?
  21. hey ive put some 300 mains in with the needle clip in the middle still got the 27.5 pilot with the mixture out 3 turns so ill try 30s it picks up really well... all the bogging issues are gone feels more powerfull up top to.. plug chop still a little leanish. so ill play around with the mains till its right... so thanks all for ur help hey. oh yeh Snopczynski the needles have 5N7 there the only markings on them

  23. round slides... (and there in the right way) ive tryed what the otheres said... about leaning off the clip... its better but still boggy.
  24. hey help please any1 my jetting is 27.5 and 270 mains. needle clip 1 above the middle. (plug is tanned....) i ride sea lvl 27-32 degree days...(australia) mods are VF3 28mm carbs makuni fmf sst + turbine cores 20cc domes and coolhead mild trail/dune port k&n inbox filtser (no lid) its very boggy down low.. sounds kinda like when u kill the ignition and go full throttle. (but not that bad it still revs) once it hits band it revs and runs great but if u drop outa band it bogs right off. carbs and jets veins are all clean and clear
  25. i live in perth australia... i ride near on sea lvl... im running 20cc domes with dune porting fmf ssts 28mm carbs and +5 timing.... havent had any issues so yeh i run bp 98... so yeh dude should be safe... just keep n eye on that jettin
