  1. Dont get me wrong, I run stock cylinders but read that quote. your saying that a 4 mil stock cyclinder would be faster than a 4mil cub. Dont buy it, maybe Bigreds is fast but if the same builder built both there would be no comparison. just my .o2
  2. Dont know about the cross over tube but i just bought a new set of Boss intakes and my bike ran like shit. Turns out they were leaking between the rubber and the aluminum. Sealed them up and it runs great. might want to check them after installing.
  3. Exactly a drag to smooth the sand on the track.
  4. I am planning on building a new drag out of steel. This is not going to be cheap, so I feeling out if people are willing to pitch in. I know the last few times Brian or Jason went around for donations people are being tight, but have no problem riding down the track. Let me know, I'm looking at around $300 in materials.
  5. Toss those FMF springs, they are to weak my bike did the same thing with them and I'm running BB pipes.

  7. IMO the exhaust port is too wide, thats prob why you got new pistons with it. With it that wide the piston will rock and crack. If you look they go past the transfers. Again just my opinion
  8. milling the stock head is way cheaper and more reliable. lighten the flywheel while you have it off

  10. I had both and its hard to tell them apart performance wise, but I ride in shorts and the cpi's sit out and back alittle farther and you burn your leg every once in a while. Im a CPI fan

  15. There was no question I was going to cut my pistons again. I asked the question to see what others thought, I dont know it could be the windows. I just asked Doug what he thought while I was there and posted his answer. You have to admit Doug builds fast bikes.
  16. Talked to another builder last night and he said he cuts windows in everything above a mild port. This is a very reputable builder holding some P.S. records from 2008. He said over revving with the sloppy sleeve caused it.

  18. The timing is at +6 the last time i checked the compression it was 155. The domes i dont know about. The piston window is only cut on the intakes not the sides or the bottom and the intake windows only get cut on the top as you can see in the pics the bottom corner thats cracking is the stock location for a blaster.
  19. Too late for that, cases are already split and being welded. Cylinders being bored, trying to get it together for the new years race.
