  1. Just a couple questions. 69mm pistons and 4mil crank is 433cc, not 421. A 421 uses 68mm pistons. Also, 10cc domes? You running diesel? lol. I don't think 110octane is enough for that much compression. I bet that motor is spark knocking like a mofo.
  2. You can call them whatever you want, but most call them reed valves.
  3. It actually turned out beautiful. I'm impressed with it. If it weren't for shipping costs and turn-around time due to the UPS man, I would have sent my shit to you. Just wouldn't have been cost effective. I've seen some top notch PC come out of your oven. You do great work. I just couldn't pass up the price that I got locally, and the fact that I got it back that same day.
  4. He said that spraying it hot, he could get it alot thicker, than spraying it cold. He did it like that, since my bike sees nothing but rough terrain. Like I said, he made it 6mil thick. And you can really tell it. The last place that did it, was one of the "Big companies". They did it cold, and only got it to 2mil thick. It was paper thin. It was scratched off in 3 months time. The bottom of the frame and where the plastics ride were rusting. There isn't any drips on any of my parts. I know that you know your shit about PC'ing. I'm just telling you what my experience has been like here recently.
  5. I got a small company to do mine. He paid very close attention to detail, protecting every bolt hole, and every place that had something going through it. He sprayed it hot, and made it 6mil thick. Very good protection for hard terrain. Turn-around time for the frame was the same day, and the other parts were 2 days. I got $270 total invested in every single steel part on the bike. The large companies around here wanted $350, for the frame only, and they sprayed it cold, and was only 2mil thick. Their turn-around time was a minimum of 2 weeks. What I got done: Frame, A-arms, swingarm, steering stem, tie rods, steering knuckles, wheel hubs, sprocket hub, brake hub, bearing carrier, engine mounts, exhaust mounts, bottom radiator mounts, top radiator mount, kicker, footpegs, chain tensioners, shock link. Colors are chrome base with translucent blue, and Bengal Silver with clear coat. The large companies wouldn't even do the translucent colors. Sandblasting Experts/Fusion Powdercoating Both are in the same building. Chesapeake, Va.
  6. I went to the local hardware store, and bought an o-ring with the same inside diameter, but thicker, for $0.99. Works like a dream. Haven't heard that rattle since.
  7. It's pinned in the section that you posted this. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110585
  8. I had my frame done locally, for $100. That was for a translucent color, too. And, it's 6mil thick. You might check into the small, local places. They seem to care about customer service and quality of their products, alot more than the big companies.
  9. Tig, and unplug the big plug coming off the stator, on top of the engine. Also unplug the single yellow wire coming off the stator.
  10. Yea, the VeeDub is my truck. lol. Look at that link again. That looks like a Ford Taurus to me. :yelrotflmao:
  11. 135? That thing ain't even warmed up yet. My running temp is around 190. You can feel the power drop when it gets over 205ish. You need to kill it if it gets that hot. But, 135 is cold, man.
  12. haha. My bad. Oh, well. I took a couple pics anyways. I just noticed the crack in the second pic.
  13. haha. No, seriously, my rocker panel is fucked up where the 2x4 was pushing up against it. Dented it in pretty bad. Gimme a minute, I'll go take a pic of it, and post it.
  14. I've done that before. You should see the driver's side rocker panel on my VeeDub.
  15. Pro-Taper SE, right here too. I got the blasted aluminum, ATV Mid-Rise. I love the feel of them.
  16. Clutch goes on that big ass nut at the top right.
  17. Yup. Same size as the clutch and sprocket nuts. 32mm or 1-1/4 works too. You can use an old one of those, and weld it to a bolt.
  18. Rubber hammer.
  19. Well, at least your screen name has a meaning now
  20. I strictly ride aggressive trails myself. I have a +6 on my mine. BUT, my trails are pretty straight, no tight turns, no jumps, lots of steep hills, and now I'm hoping to be cranking out around 120hp. He's riding trails and MX, and I assume he has the normal bolt-on stuff. With the tight turns, high jumps, and whoops on an MX track, he's gonna need a shorter swingarm.
  21. I assume it's a stroker motor. Check to make sure your carbs are sync'd.
  22. Why can't you get the front end up on your Banshee? You should be able to pop it right up and over rocks, just like your Raptor. Especially with a stock length swingarm. 250Rho, if he gets a taller tire, he needs to add teeth in the rear to compensate, not lose them.
  23. About as good advise as you can get, right there.
  24. Right under the stator, on the frame.
  25. hahahahahahahaha!!!!! Yea, the cops chased him. Don't you think this douchebag would have kept driving around the neighborhood at 70+, if the cops didn't come. Probably. Not to stick up for the cops, but at least while the cops were chasing him, people knew he was coming, since he had big blue lights and loud sirens on his ass. Alot of things factor in when chasing someone. School let out yet? School zone anywhere close? People still at work? Raining? Amount of traffic? Is the guy driving like a raging idiot, or is he controlling his ride? The most important, Is the charges worth it? In this case, most likely not. The cop probably should have just went to where the guy was riding, and just sat in his car somewhere visible. That dude would have just went home. Not to mention, if the rider could ride a little better, the cop would have got smoked.
