All I saw on the other thread is some lame attempt at lettering for 25.00 per shirt. Is there any graphics, Outlines of a photo of a Banshee or anything at all artistic in design other than someone placing BansheeHQ on a t-shirt? I can do that myself with a marks-a-lot. Lets see the finished designs before we buy not after. How many Ink colors will there be and what colors are the T-shirts? Im not trying to be difficult but damn. Show me something.

Yes, Dont use tire soap to mount them. Use water only. Place a wratchet strap on the outer tread area around the tire and tighten it to help you seat the bead on the rim while you air it up. Good luck. I usually go to discount tire for $4.50 per tire its cheap

I love the black even though they are hotter in the summer. They hide grease marks and hold up the best. The preshrunk thick 3 or 4mil or better high density cotton poly blend are the highest quality. Check out the collar areas; as import T-shirts tend to have cheap collors that stretch out and look nasty. I think that we should have a link to submit art for the shirts somewhere on here. How many colors are you thinking? Im in for a few..

I would think that If you bought those pipes brand new from them that they are still under warranty. I checked out the website and found this. As long as we have the RMA code on our boxes when we get them it should not be a problem. The below info is off the DMC website: Returns will only be accepted for new items within 30 days from purchase date and must include a copy of the original DMC invoice and an RMA number plainly visible on the outside of the package. DMC is not responsible for items returned without an RMA number plainly visible on the OUTSIDE of the return package. The condition of all returned item(s) will be examined upon arrival at our warehouse. After we accept your return, the credit card originally used to pay for your order will be credited for the purchase price of the item and any applicable sales tax, less a 20% restock charge. As long as the stuff is brought to thier attention they should honor the Warranty I would think.

Yea thanks . This wait is killing me. It used to be like this 20 years ago when 6 to 8 week waits were the norm. We are ok so far bu  t It is getting ridiculous about them not pushin you and Tammy info on them as yet. I hope that they take care of the welds really good as was previously mentioned.

I think I saw one of those racks as being universal with the Banshee specific mount on I think it was Tucker Rocky catalog maybe. I thought about just letting myself be a redneck and getting one just to carry one of those flat extra fuel gas cans. Tate was telling me that out at Killpecker in Wyoming he went through alot of gas riding out to the large dunes way up north in that area. No-one tells you guys what all to bolt on to your Banshees....Hell who cares anyhow as long as we personally dont have to ride or be seen with it on...haha Its about as bad as putting 20 inch rims on a Banshee or mounting the engine backwards or putting in a TRX engine in a Banshee frame...or even putting Raptor plastics on a Banshee frame. Big deal. As long as It is a Banshee of some sorts having Banshee roots at least right...Give him credit that he is daring to be different. Party On

I dont know now: Im waiting patiently until the end of this month. That should be plenty of time. If they are not finished by then Ill get a refund and Go buy something else I guess. They should be close though I would think by now. I really dont like the company not keeping us informed through our buyer very well. I guess good things come to those who wait. Peace out. ::

what do i paint my exhoust with?
R. Rollins replied to banshee_terror_'s topic in Banshee Appearance
x2 on that method. Last year I pulled the pipes and stuck them in the oven at 170 degrees. I got them hot then quickly hung them from my garage door opener motor with a rubber strap and wire and painted them with that VHT paint. Its great stuff. -
One final thing : I would also do all coorespondance through E-mail and save copys of all of it. Telephone messages are hard to prove that anything was said unless its recorded.

I dont mess around when it comes to good general business ethics. If I get messed with I would not hesitate to start up a law suit. Id even drive down to the city where the business was located and have the Sherrif serve his ass personally. Id then sue him for the gas money and hotel fees while I waited for my money back. That will break him from sucking eggs.

Yea; Take a photo and put it on powerpoint and creat arrows on th photo and post it here and maybe we can send it to DMC for a sort of customer service notification for problems with thier production proceedures or something. Its worth taking note of as yours are new arnt they? :ermm:

new banshee owner needs some help
R. Rollins replied to rmarsh18's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
That would hack me off as well. Well do you get any spark when you place a plug in the cap and hold it next to the side of the cylinder and try and crank on it? Check both sides and if you only see a faint spark then you most likely have a very weak coil. You may also pull the stator cover and check to see that it is nice and dry and has not been drowning in water from some previous owner running it through a river and corroding the stator assembly really bad. new banshee owner needs some help
R. Rollins replied to rmarsh18's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
These are "roughly" what I do when I have problems like that. 1st; I would make sure that my fuel mixture was 32:1 or maybe up to 40:1 2nd; I would check the plugs with a plug chop proceedure so as to ensure that your jetting is dead on. 3rd; I would check the cables and make sure that they are both lifting the carb sliders at exactly the same time. 4th I would do the below listed stuff. ________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________ Try and purchase yourself a Factory service manual or a clymer manual for directions on troubleshooting proceedures. Order yourself a good carb sync tool from fasttoys for $50.00 or E-bay for around $35.00. The tool can be seen in the top of the videos section of the banshee HQ for carb syncronization proceedures. I would start with a good cleaning then, take the carbs off and clean them up good. I would think that it is best to have a ground floor cleaning so as to eliminate alot of other things that you have mentioned. Next I would check all orifices in the carbs for any debris caught in any areas while cleaning. Dry them off well and put them back together carefully. check the floats to be sure that they are set the same and according to the book level. Note: As long as the carbs are off you can inspect the reeds on the cylinders. Put in two new plugs and tighten the carbs back onto the boots. Set the carb air screws and idle screws the same for initial settings according to the manual. Replace the carb tops on both carbs and ensure that they are set so that they lift at exactly the same instant when the thumb throttle is depressed. Hook up the fuel lines Check both plugs for spark first. If you have a good strong blue spark on both sides then install the plugs again and start the bike. Adjust the syncronization with your new carb sync tool and trouble shoot further for other symptoms now. You have just eliminated a big portion of most troubles with your banshee. If you are still having troubles after that take detailed notes and get back with the HQ. Ill bet that a simple cleaning and adjustments will clear it out if its carb related. This always works for me, but some of the other really detailed Banshee Masters here could dissagree on the order I did my things listed here. -
Dang there "locogato"; If your going to correct his sentences then at least place your capital letters in the beginning of your sentences and question marks where they belong. "One of those do as I say and not as I do sort of things right." The question wasn't so bad as some of the other ones that we have seen. Its time for us to have a beer and chill. Crap; The weather is so bad out here in Denver that beer is even too cold to drink. ____________________________________________________________________________ Just messing with ya "Locogato"..... I dont get very serious about anything these days much. Any how Banshees like he stated are gas hogs anyhow. Any high performance machine loves fuel. If you ride it lke you stole it then the results are even worse.

Dont give up : Real soon after you get in all those parts you will have her up again.

If you just plan on doing Banshee carbs yuo can usually find that carb sync tool on e-bay for $35.00 Mine came with the adapters for larger carbs as well. Jeffs Snc tool is the very same one. for $50.00 with the adapters.

You and the family must be cleaning up the bikes and getting them ready to put them in the new trailer. Hows the Blaster project for your daughter going Tate? Ray

New rebuild- Need help getting to run
R. Rollins replied to lambchop's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I was wondering why the needle clip was now leaner? Shouldnt Mesa Arizona be close to sea level or only a bit higher? Is there a big altitude in the area where you are located at? I guess I would maybe just set everything back to stock settings from the book. Then adjust as needed from the running bike conditions as you get them. Are the carbs adjusted at least visually to sync before attempting to start? Are the float bowls set evenly or the same when you had them apart? Are they (carbs) really cleaned out, as idle jets etc...? Do you have a strong blue spark at each cylinder? Is there any mods on the timing plate or adjustments on it, that may have to be considered prior to any of the Banshee experts providing any advise? I think that it just may be carb related, but the experts need to pipe in on this one with more info from you on these things mentioned. I hope you get this fixed soon. Good luck. Ray -
I have a set of the DMC 916s on order now. They will go on my new Banshee that I will leave all stock except for those pipes, skid plates and maybe a custom seat later. I have purchased alot of ATV's in the last year and Ill have to pipe down a bit on the large spending until the boat I just got warms the wife over a bit. So far we now have the Me: Two Banshees Wife: brand new (NOS)2007 Polaris trailboss330 12 year old son: 400 scrambler two stroke (2x4) 8 year oldson: "refurbished and rebuilt Honda TRX-70" Yea I have to calm down on spending until the summer at least. If my next door neighbor keeps his Banshee he may want a set but I doubt it as he is now wanting a car I think and he may want to sell his 2005 Banshee for $2,000.

WENT AHEAD AND MADE THE TRADE
R. Rollins replied to figure8racer7463's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Damn that bike looks sweet as pie. Very nice Banshee dude. You got a rolling classic that will ruin your wallet , blirr your vision at high speeds and put blisters on the hands. Congrats on a hell of a deal. Ray..... -
What sort of exhaust are you going to go with now? Are you going bigger?
-
I would think that they will all fit all years. I am officially going nuts waiting for my DMC 916 pipes. Its all I can do to keep the cool.
-
Wow what the story: I think that you are now better off anyhow. Consider the fact that its not too expensive and that you will now have the piece of mind knowing that its all new stuff on it now. It will ride better, smoother and faster than before. You will also appreciate it as you went through all that trouble. Live to ride on............Banshees are tough to kill completely. Parts are cheap, and plentyful. Congrats on your "new Banshee"

Why do we love our Banshee's?
R. Rollins replied to SteelerBob's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I could give a rats ass what others think about how fast or not my Banshee's are. They (both please me). I rode one in 1987 at a dealership and swore that one day I would own one. Now in 2008 I finally did get one, then last spring I finally bought a brand new one off the showroom floor. I can never replace the smile I get when I ride the Banshees at full throttle. Im getting older and I am set in my ways. I will always have my Banshees until I keel over dead as hell. When I saw my 80 year old father ride mine full throttle and come back squeeling like a kid again, I knew that there was something special in it for me as well. -
Thats still too high for an old bike with just a 250.00 set of pipes on it. I see these all day long 1995 -2002 models for $1,500 with T-5 pipes on them. I would say you have approx a $900 to $1,100 bike there unless it is re-built. This is not to piss you off, I am just being practical and grounded with the suggestive apprasial. Remember they have made this same bike for over 20 years now. "They are a dime a dozen". Why would any buyer get yours when they can have a 1999 model with the same mods on it?
