  1. That's what the guy said he was running when I got it. So I decided rather than switch it all at one I'd ease it into a leaner mixture. Now that my top end is being rebuilt, I'm going to 30:1. I believe that's how my husband mixes for his too.
  2. I use super m 20:1 and geer saver.
  3. All the reason I traded. It also needs the clutch basket rebuilt and clutch plates, but this we knew. We just decided to throw in a stroker kit too.
  4. The piston wasn't completely destroyed but we are getting it bored out again, wiseco pistons, rings, and it needs a new crank. It just sucks having to wait for it.
  5. Well, pretty much whoever rebuilt it, had no clue what they were really doing. It was supposedly bored .060 over. It was only .040 over. The stock pistons were also put back in after boring it. Can't be to angry though. I only paid $1500 for the ex, so after the rebuild it will be like paying $2500 for the banshee.
  6. I did talk to the guy. His reply was pretty much sorry for your luck, it was rebuilt over the winter, with around 15 hours on the rebuild, so it's not my fault. We took it to the shop, and just told them to fix it. I guess he took the 400 to be rebuilt even though everything was just put in it over the winter. Once he found out how much more expensive it was than the banshee he just decided to sell it.
  7. Denitately top end. We tore it down. A bearing came out and destroyed my piston.
  8. I traded my 400 ex on a banshee yesterday. Ran fine there and everything seemed okay. We went riding after we got home and when we were riding up a hill it started making a loud rattling noise so I stopped and shut her off. One of the wires came off the plug because the cap was stripped. I switched it out for my spare plug and started it up but it is still rapping on the same side as the wire that came off. It's hard to kick now, won't stay running doesn't die, just completely stops. Could it be a piston?
  9. I'll talk to the hubby tomorrow about getting this. He snapped his in half yesterday, so he def. needs a lonestar...
