  1. just be careful you dont fall in love with her since she aint yours lol . Its a sickness realy!!! welcome to the house
  2. the correct bore for what? what kinda engine/power are you looking to build? the cylinders on a banshee are kinda the heart of the beast. If they are on there stock bore or thier last can make a huge diffrence I cant right of hand remember the stock bore measerment but im sure one of these guys will follow me up with that. you can measure the bore with a ruler if want then tell us the numbers
  3. right on I guess i better get my shee back to life huh? I guess there are a few of us going to try and make it out there. I know its a dumb question again like i said never been do they have decent camp grounds i mean as in should we bring the camp trailer or get a hotel? i have been told by a few that its not worth camping at the dunes.
  4. my bad got to thinkin and i was very blah with my responce I appoligize for that. You can run a 4mil crank on a stock engine like said above with spacer plate. I just was commenting about the price that a new one will run you. You did not mention what you were looking to spend. so I just mentioned that you could go a little cheaper and buy a used stock or rather a used 4mil and save a little cash. but if you are to buy a new as also said above I would also recomend jeff at F.A.S.T
  5. I have never been there but want to go. I was just wondering who all is planning on going for new years and is it nice there that time of year
  6. welcome to the house. Hope you have a very nice income... j\k
  7. lol that was funny.
  8. Easy there boys not all us bitches play that game. lol you just gotta get your girl something that she gets as exited about. i poke fun at slobanshee at times for some of the stuff you guys get so exited about but its all in fun I am just as hooked on my bansh as he is his and of course i have my trucks. lol by the way congrats.
  9. I saposse you could but that is a lot of money in a crank just to have sitting in the case. It would be way cheaper to go with a slightly used stock crank if you are not planning on doin anything else to her. just my .01
  10. me to Im knew to this whole raffle a bansh thing so if you could send me a pm with the details that would be sweet. also let me know in there if you still need anything i will see what i can do for ya. Also the trip to glamis for new years is it a big ride? do we need to register for that or what? let me know thanks.
  11. banshee stock crank shafts are notorious for slipping out of phase and ruining cases/cylinders. they are trued(checked to make sure they are within .0005" of concentricity between crank webs) and the crank pins are then tig welded to insure that they will not slip out of phase. this is highly recomended especialy for a engine that has any kind of mod work done to it.
  12. The port timing was set by whoever did the portwork. It is determined by how high the ports are cut. Your squish is a little loose, probably work for a drag setup.
  13. I can only go about 190.00 shipped. thats the crank and bearings for $100 and the trued/welded for $60. and they are about $30-$35 to ship.
  14. The 2into1 setups mean that 2 cylinders are bein fed by one carb....so there would be only one 33mm carb vs. having 2 33mm carbs. Hope that helps.
  15. Got one for sale for $100 plus shipping, $160 plus shipping trued/welded.
  16. It doesn't matter what gear it's in when it goes back together, as bansh-eman said you may have a bent shift fork...or didn't get one of the forks into the dogs correctly. You'll have to split the cases again...sorry. By the way, welcome to the HQ!
  17. nothing else is required to mount a cool head, both the cool head and timing advance will give you a nice bottom to mid power increase. you can get the ricky stater adjustable timing plates for around 40$, you will also need a fly wheel puller to do the timing advance. If your looking for a big power increase then port work is your next step.
  18. cool head, advance timing, portwork
  19. easy there patient one. go to FAST's website he might have more on there.
  20. I sent you another pm I was just curious if you got it my computer is stupid.
  21. bump!!!
  22. do a search to do a plug chop. you were at sea level and it ran good now your higher elevation and its probably running to rich you probably need to jump your jetting up.
  23. agree. you are rebuilding the whole thing anyway. I would replace both pistons at the same time you want the same wear on both sides. if you were to reesleve one side and bore it you would be off balance. Also are you looking to go with a stock crank and pistons and no port work?
  24. Whats the story on the black and yellow in the background? I may want a few parts of that one possibly a lot of parts. or maybe the whole bike? what does it have done to it?
  25. ron woods rotax. If your looking to run with a shee your going to want a lot more then a pipe. lol
