  1. Thanks Jered thats the words I was looking for. We have those haha but I was having a Benydril indused moment....
  2. Looking at where it is attacthed in the pic. I would say it was the valve keep. Maybe its off of an older oem carb that used that style.
  3. We will be there Thursday threw Tuesday. Camped in the same spot as always. Let us know if your camping with us and we will make room.
  4. We carry the Mattoon line and yes the lighter ones are a bit thin compared to others but set up right we have very few issues with them about the same as compared to the other covers.
  5. The G-Force is no longer bieng bagded G-force it is just just Tusk it is the same axle. And the banshee ones are on backorder still. Our shippment date is June 15th. I have no idea what others are. The next one up is the dura blue Eliminater 2+2.
  6. Just a thought but your cable might be out and not actually engaging the clutch all the way,
  7. There is a lot of info and it can be very hard to find and to sort out. When it comes to porting there are many factors to concider and many things that will play into end results. As a few mentioned pics of portwork won''t do you any good. What type of riding do you plan on doing with your bike? Also what is already done to the bike? What kind of budget are you working with? These things will get you pointed in a right direction for the type of porting that you will want. If you are looking into a used set of ported cylinders the best way to know what your getting is to ask the seller alot of questions, what were they ported for? Who did the portwork? This way you can call the porter and see what they would recommend as far as the supporting mods, what they were set up for, and would they be what you are looking for.
  8. Those are nice but the sprint car wing is not my taste..lol We used to have two of them, 2003 GT and an 07 GT, but you only have time for so many toys...
  9. We run the pro-lites in our bikes from the 350's to the 10mil cheatahs never really had any piston issues. Have not really done much with the hard coated ones.
  10. Joe, To be properly synced all of the carb adjustments must be the same. The slides need to rest at the same height, be at the same height at wide open throttle and begin to raise at the same time. The pilot air screws must be the same amount of turn out from bottom and all of the jetting specs must be the same. Check the spark plug caps, make sure they have a good tight connection to the plug wires. The pickup coil gap should be .018"-.020" measured between the pickup lugs on the flywheel and pickup coil, if one lug measures differently from the other it would indicate the crank being out of true. Also it may be a good idea to check the compression, a cylinder with low compression may not fire in the lower rpms, then will begin to fire as the revs increase. Hope this all helps.
  11. It was awesome to meet some more guys from the hQ. The weather treated us very well all weekend. Saturday was perfect weather. looking forward to the next ride for sure!!

  13. We usually try and go up there in July, We have been there in june, It was Nice. Thinking we will have to look into this.
  14. Really when it comes to a banshee or other two strokes, you have a lot of options. If you want to stay Stock cylinder you can go stock stroke, 4-mil, even a 7mil. It would kind of depend on what your Style of riding is. What you want it built for. Let us know what you are going for and then we can give you more ideas.
  15. Wow thats a brutal ending. I would not even chance running that with out a full tear down. There are a couple of things that could be wrong in that bottom end and you wouldn't even know till you went to run it again. There is an easy way to clean out the bottom end with out splitting the cases but at this point with that damage I would split them. Also before you go ahead with the work or send it out you may want to figure what build you want to do with it while it's down, if you choose to go with a stock stroke build then the parts wont change much, but if you decide to go with say a 4mil. Then there are a few parts that will change like piston size, Porting ect.ect. If you want to talk about a good set up for your riding and have a builder in mind give them a call. We are also available to answer some questions 435-623-0148
  16. We sell them for: Shift Forks: $37.00 each They are at Bike Bandit: $39.80 each For the Oem ones anyway.
  17. Food for thought: We have a 4mil set up for aggressive dune riding and drag with a +4 makes keeping the front end down a little tricky but it is awesome for turning and handeling the dunes, we have a 4mil for Dune riding and ocational hill racing on a +6 takes the dunes and woops like a caddy, and it aids in keeping the front end down while hill shooting, Or there are the guys that love to have the front end up that run a +2 or stock. It really is going to depend on what and how hard you ride your bike.
  18. If it's a stock set up you know you can get a bore and hone, a set of pistons and a top end gasket set and just rebuild the top end right? Or are you looking for an aftermarket top end? Also I would recommend trying to figure out what made it go in the first place so you do not have the issue again.
  19. We are Heading out either wednesday night, or early early thursday Morning. So cannot wait to hit the the sand. We are doing a potluck on Saturday: Brandon +4 mabye 3 more/ Steak. 20. There are some issues with the cases that can be repaired and some that cannot. A couple of pics would be very helpfull in giving you a more acurate answer. Also a repair depending on how big the repair is is not always the best option in a high horse power engine. It would depend both on repair and how big of engine you are looking to build. As far as new cases, there is the option of finding a good used set for sale. Or you can get a set of new oem cases, Or there are aftermarket cases if you are looking to build a much bigger engine.
  21. Are you looking for new or used or both?
  22. A good place to start where it has sat for so long. Is to take the carbs down clean them out. Check that the slides move smoothly and are in sync. After that it is most likley an adjustment or two with jetting and air screws.
