  3. I will also add that if you're going to set yourself up to have to run race fuel, just skip it and go to methanol. Yes there are all the negatives of which I'm well aware but the gains in power and running cool are worth it for me.
  4. 155-160lbs I mix in a little race gas if I go to lower elevations. I usually ride at 6000+ feet though and haven't had any detonation issues on 91 octane. Went to St Anthony's and mixed race gas about 30% just be safe.

  7. NOT worth time or effort IMO to put a 600 class engine in anything other than what it came in. If I were going the street bike powered route it would definitely be a liter bike engine, and either a GSXR or a Busa power plant.   9. they look like 795 pistons. Probably put that spacer in there as a cheap way to lower the compression. I always lmao when I see people say the "long rod" increases displacement, or otherwise changes ANYTHING other than the rod angle. The stroke is determined by the crank, not the rods. If you put a +5mm long rod, stock stroke crank in a stock bike, with stock bore size how exactly do you have more than 350cc's? Just exactly WTH is a 370 long rod anyway? sorry for the derail
  10. To be honest I put up this post to see if there would be any interest. I'm not "wanting" or actively trying to get rid of it, but if someone offers me the right trade on a TA or Camaro I would consider it. Other wise I'll just keep it. I get a sick rush every time I blast up the hill when I haven't ridden for a while. It's fast, and dead nuts reliable so far. Thanks for your concern though. You guys are such a great group, let's hug.

  17. I've had a lot of fun on my 4mil duner. Runs awesome with HJR porting. I would go that route, with your budget you can build a nice 4mil. Dont forget the swingarm!!! Not much fun when you can NOT keep it down. Whole new bike with my +4 which Kevin told me I would need, at a minimum.
  18. You mean to make them idle? Everyone I've talked to said PJ's wont idle on methanol. I'm not really trying to get them to idle, they run good right now so I dont want to mess with the tuning. Just want to know if a different size carb would run better, power wise...
  19. Ok guys, right now she's running 34 PJ's. Wont idle at all and I'm kinda getting sick of it... Mods are in the sig, it hauls MAJOR ass right now but I'm thinking of trying a different set of carbs. Also thinking about going to OOF shearers... So, how do you guys think a set of 39mm air strykers would work? Buddy has a set I might try to see if I like them. Also would you do BB Shearer OOF's, or small? Thanks

  22. I need just a set of rings to rering my left cylinder. I found the wiseco part number for banshee replacement rings and can get them online. My question is though, I have a 4mil/5m longrod motor with blaster pistons. My bore size is 64.50mm. Should I get replacement banshee 6450 rings, or Blaster 6450 replacement rings? Thanks,
  23. Actually the top ear of the thing broke and punched through the top of the case. They (modquad) saw fit to drill holes in the damn thing, and it snapped on the second one down from the top. It is still in one piece, it just snapped on the bottom side of that hole and pushed the saver through the top of the case.
  24. Think I should just re ring the one side and keep riding this season? Pretty sure it was due to the needles being leaned out a little much. soo phwah soo phwah back firing out that cylinder lmao. Bitch loves methanol though. :-/
