  1. Someone on here has to live near Riverside, that would be worth checking into.
  2. Still got the t-5's ? Saw the ad on craigslist today.
  3. Nothing would rust, everything is aluminum. dont use tap water, get distilled.
  4. Straight water with water wetter or engine ice works awesome. Not so good if you forget to switch to antifreeze when it gets cold where I live though.
  5. Thats cool man!
  6. This would have been nice to have seen about a month ago. http://speed.racingjunk.com/category/568/Other/post/1975056/Dean-Sundahl-Custom-Built-Quad.html
  7. And 37 bids ? Must be a good box.
  8. I want new hubs for my x-33, a Sundahl frame, and Serval top end.
  9. Get a Peterbuilt.
  10. They look good.
  11. The toomeys ate nice too if you want to get rid of your box altogether.
  12. Oh yeah I would too, I was just curious about them. I'd like to come across a set for sale to take a look at them.
  13. An increase in temperature from a 9 degree change in timing would be normal but since you replaced the impeller just make sure your full of coolant and dont have a air lock. I would check your jetting for sure!
  14. Welcome to the HQ. You might want to check out Elka's website. They offer a long travel package that you might like.
  15. I use a little black rtv around the studs just for insurance. Never had a leak.
  16. I know that, I would just like to know about their porting and peoples thoughts on it, I'm not paying for it.
  17. Fungus toe green
  18. $60-$80 bore and hone plus the price of your pistons and rings v.s. $300 on up for good cylinders alone. If you want to save some money and be ahead of the game find someone on here that is selling a good used ported set with pistons and get yourself a new set of rings and call it good.
  19. Does anyone here have any experience or knowledge about Duncan's "national" porting besides the price. Seems like everyone that runs it wins in all types of racing from tt to hillclimb to Baja. I know they know there shit and have built a good name for themselves but why dont more people on here run there cylinders.
  20. They are called cylinders or jugs. It would be way cheaper to have yours bored and get new pistons and rings but if you just want to get ready to go parts to bolt on and go you should be able to find something on here or a top end set on ebay.
  21. Thats better yet!!!
  22. Yes, I have PJ's on it and on the bike that I have stock carbs on I dont use them at all. I dont think there is any gain at all, it lengthens your intake tract a quarter inch or so but Im not sure that has any effect on a 2 stroke.
  23. And that's the only way with what you have, It's going to take alot more than gearing and pipes to beat a full yosh LTR . It's not going to happen without porting unless it's by accident. I doubt it.
