  1. Major issues with bowls running dry... i drilled out fuel inlet holes, did not help.... set floats where it was on verdge of overflow and worked out fine... do yourslef a favor and check the float height before you install, mine werent even and the factory setting did not hold enough fuel in the bowls, this can make for a SERIOUS headache trying to adjust and not to mention burn up your motor.. some people were able to bolt on and go, not the case with me and several others..

    Clutch Parts

Buddy of mine got an 01 given to him, he knows nothing about banshees so he brought it over to me to get it running for him... its missing the entire clutch assembly, gear, basket, inner & outer hubs, plates, adjuster.. need all of it, stock stuff would be fine, if anybody has some spare parts laying around hit me up it would be greatly appreciated.. allready did the ebay thing twice and got stung... thanks
  3. ive got a set sitting on my shelf in the garage. Due to the issue of me not being able to solve this problem, after drilling out the fuel inlet line using a seperate line for each carb nothing worked.. thus they were removed and make nice paper weights. ive heard of people having ok luck with these carbs but my experince with them was a nightmare, if u are looking to buy carbs you will be doing yourself a favor by spending the extra few dollars and buying namebrand. just my opinion. these carbs are cheap and by cheap i mean cheaply made, up to the casting, everything.

Hey wheres JSR at in wichita? always looking for new shops, usually m.a.p gets my loot if im in a rush. My bros bday is the 26th of this month ill be down there the following weekend, granted theres no technical difficulties again. cant keep a clutch in my 421 to save my life, 10 hours of use and its toast on average, getting on my last gdamn nerve
  6. plan on going, the group kinda died off though thanks to our booming economy, but hey im amped to roll down there and stretch the cubs legs  see you guys there
  7. Im in ponca city all the time, i live in ark city. bro lives in newkirk and works at smith tool. we'll have to hit up some riding sometime weve got a few shees
  8. im down for some riding. As previously stated, socks, sandals, layers of clothes. FIREWOOD, twice as much money as you plan to spend, seems theres always something that fails you had not planned for.Throw a tarp in there as well
  9. be there snakehunt no doubt, trying to get something going before then. this waiting shit sucks
  10. agreed.. but i would like to add this, we have a 96 shee bought in 97 with a boost bottle, riding every year up to this year. never had any intake leaks or *torn boots* BUT it was taking off because of the clutter. there a gimic we all know that lets move on to... lets say.... stock tires i think i can handle 20 more pages of that before another boost bottle one

considering it, just bought a new truck would like to see how it hauls all my shit
  12. trail techs work way great, look good, cheap. I will say this though, bought a set brand new from rmatv, rode with them twice, and the plastic chrome plating is allready bubbling, was NOT happy at all, my bros wifes bike has them to and they look horrible but idk how long those have been on there. ill go pia or something else for the other bikes.
  13. are you using the rectangle flat pos pickup they send with the stator? my bro gotta 200w rs.... had some miss issues so we bought a new pickup coil ( you can't properly set the gap on those there not flat) from rs, factory replacement. swapped it out reconnected and the problem never surfaced again. we at first were moving the plate around, swapping jets needkes the whole 9. the pu was the faulty component. they said on the phone they were gonna do away with those pickups soon. a lot of people having problems with these stators, this one so far minus the pu is doing fine.
  14. welcome to the show! haha dude I love it, that ride would catch my eye a mile away I wouldn't change a thing.. id name her the the rainbow rocket its damn sure different looking..
  15. is the guy still around? that's some engineering id love to see.
  16. lol man tell me u were up drinking late. I don't see a electric start paying off if it were possible even. shee's the easiest quad to start anyhow? jump ona zilla for a weekend and work that leg you'll praise allah u own a shee
  17. take the nut off and try to rotate the hub on the splines. if it moves, take it off and inspect the splines. if you run them loose they have a tendency to wear out. if theres not a noticeable amount of wear put some anti-seize on there and give her hell with a breakover.your asking for trouble running them with slack though, good way to lose a wheel.
  18. hey man I work in ur town and have rebuilt a few of these joints. if ya need help hit me up I'll swing by and throw a wrench at it needa hit up some riding sometime man the more shees in the group the better. theres 7 of us with them. only way to roll
  19. ya I don't think I wanna drop that kinda change to a business that has shotty customer service. probably go with RDZ then. id rather buy all new components to be honest, I don't have a problem spending the money, just wanted to see who's got them, but hell how much he want for the 4mill? hours? just curious how much a 'ton' is I may need new shocks lol
  20. looking to build a cheetah pv motor for my girl this winter.. who's got the best prices on the cylinders? everybody sales the cubs but I can't find anybody but trinity and rdz for the pv version. got a 421 cub its fun but not the type of ride she needs. the stock setup is boring and im tired of it so is she. not wanting to port either, rather throw a crank, cylinders and all the other goodies at it instead.. where's it at! thinking 485
  21. my 97 needs painted bad BUT ill be damned u find any dirt on them bitches after a ride. its to the carwash, then my patio for an extensive cleaning polishing process. I polish the pipes after every ride. rims swingers all of it. about 20 bucks, 15 microfiber towels, some neverdull, 5 hours later there done n put away. then repolished before the next ride. I've learned a clean machine operates better and are easier to maintain. I don't ride dirt hardly at all. dunes are 2 hours away im cool with that
  22. I had no idea it was fallbreak tell we got there, don't really keep up with those things anymore. my bro and I are working on getting everybody rounded up for a winter trip. not ready to give up just yet! seems were never satisifed we took a couple years off of riding now were addicted to the shit again, stop late n start again early spring that is the plan. glad to hear nobody got hurt.
  23. ya the people that own that place were some weird mofo's. it wasn't by choice we stayed there we couldn't find anywhere to camp place was pretty damn packed for a non-event weekend. I got some vids of it ill get posted up when I get the chance. I can say that track was f'd up! I was launching out of a foot n half hole every time n couldn't keep the front end down. fun either way the kids enjoyed watching I could tell, dunes were nice n super rough next trip will be on a random nonbusy weekend hopefully
  24. we got there at 10am sat and had to park in the sandrat park, didn't get to see anybody out there damnit. was fun though had a good weekend. bro's wife hit a tree bent up a bumper. another dude that had never rode in his life we stuck him on a kx250 he plowed a trailer haha funny shit. I picked up the overall win at the sandrat drags wohoo granted there wasn't much competition still was cool. won 2 old ass tshirts and a picture, had my 5 seconds of fame :-) nothing got broke either, very solid weekend ready to go back sometime
  25. check your mainshaft and countershaft for any heat discoloration or burrs. I had my cub bike tore down cuz it wouldn't shift out of 2nd. well it turned out there was a heated area on the shaft between gears not allowing it to shift. should be able to shift through all gears rotating the sprocket and shifting it. might also check your bearing on your shift drum.
