  1. Im not sure as I havnt tested long term effects of stress and fatigue on the particular material. Sure someone around here has though and could chime in. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  2. No problem, been riding for 25 years myself and safety is always a concern. Would hate to see someone overlook this stuff and get hurt due to it. Cheers Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  3. It is stainless. Can't get a bushing out to measure tube thickness and not damaging them, definitely dont wanna be stuck with these because I messed with them.
  4. Ill slap a ball mic on them real quick n let you know. Not centered.... almost appears to of been done without a jig what you guys think? How does one fuck it up that bad and assume this is "satisfactory" to send to a customer?? Hahaa Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  5. The more I look at them the more flaws I find. The welds arnt "bad" but nothing seems lined up correctly as if the jig they used (if they even used one) was shit Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  6. I have LSR/elka setup on one of my bikes, zero complaints as for fit and finish/quality. Just picked these up randomly for the chick bike was all, somebody has to get the word out! Im in no rush to do anything with that particular bike ill send back get my cash and blow it on something else. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  7. Absolutely comical, I just laughed. Will be sending back/refund as these are a death trap imo.The tabs being .066" thick and BENT? haha yea no thanks, id steer clear of these for future reference. Theres no way in hell id run these Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
  8. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-YFZ-350-A-Front-A-ARMS-2-1-all-years-/290986580079?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43c026d86f&vxp=mtr asi_performance the other seller im seeing has a little better feedback, ill check back on here when I get mine with my findings too. Ill Mic the tabs and compare the thickness to LSR if OP doesnt beat me to it
  9. I picked up a set as well, be here friday. I "submitted" an offer of $235. Did not see this until now. No haggling, was shipped out very promptly as well. Anxious to compare next to LSR. Gotta say though, at that price with the welds looking decent im not sure why anyone would fork over double on other arms currently available. Assuming they dont snap off, ill be a happy sob
  10. Ill take the rear hubs if they havnt sold yet. Thanks
  11. Banshee funds are low here too however thats always short-lived and will pass soon enough. Been to effin cold lately to make a trip down there anyhow. My elka's need some love for sure...thing has zero rebound to it now after the last ride. Id like to say yes it pisses me off but reality is im still making more in the long run than those folks. There's always going to be "beggars" and if thats the integrity they want to uphold then so be it. On a side note it does irritate me the tax brackets are so drastic. Someone making 37k should not pay the same percentage as an individual making 87k. Can sit here and bitch all day about that but reality being im going to pay the shit anyhow if I wanna continue to have a roof over my head.
  12. What I gathered from the pictures, think ill pass on that all together. Slowly getting the cub back together. Uncle sam decided $13,000 in taxes out of my wages wasn't enough so he stuck me with another $1000 Im in the midst of working a couple extra days to pay for. Like road block after road block on this thing somethings constantly coming up.Be down to LS this spring no doubt though, dont see the point until this jalopy is operational.
  13. Awesome, that link was extremely useful. Ill definitely hit up the river. Hutchinson isnt to far from work and home so ill check that out soon when it heats up.. Can say the "badlands" suck, good for watching mudruns but thats about it. As for the syracuse sand dunes thats about 5 or 6hr drive for what appears to be very flat as well so ill stick with LS when I get the urge to travel more.
  14. Make sure the pin is in the shift star to the shift drum...I've seen them fall out before resulting in this exact issue your having. It "clicks" but doesnt do shit if not. Just a thought
  15. Ill go down and check it out soon, thanks
  16. Not much into the drag scene, straight line is a total snooze fest for me but ill check it out none the less seemings how elderado is fairly close to where I work. The Arkansas river is pretty flat ass sandbars in my town but all we really have now unfortunately. May venture out sometime to dodge if its worthwhile but thats about an equal drive to the dunes, we shall see. Thanks for the input
  17. In process, motors chillin in my kitchen waiting on pistons. Black bike is fixed, just as shitty and slow to ride as I had remembered
  18. Have rode those dunes for 18 years and there is no substitute around here, however when I wanna get a quick "fix", it's not practical anymore to just load up and roll down. Costs roughly $300 for me to do that for a day which isnt much at all to me but still, not something i can make a habbit of. Seems I ride my bikes less and less every year, not digging that concept for this year and would like to utilize them more.
  19. Interesting I may have to go check it out again however not really into beating my shit up on rocks but I do have a clunker for that. Is it a go as u please still? Pay? Gated? Anything of that nature. I live in arkansas city
  20. Assuming your talking about washunga bay area directly across the bridge?
  21. Used to ride at kaw when I was younger actually, live north of ponca. That place is still open to the public? Remember hearing it was shut down at some point. Also remember it being more motorcycle oriented back then
  22. Any fellas around these parts? Wouldn't mind finding new places to ride, other than little Sahara. Not really crap around here except pastures and short runs of river banks.
  23. Have used these on cpi's and shearers, good hangers. Also them having one pivot instead of two bolts like the cascade ones allow for more adjustment hanging the pipe in a "natural" state. Worth the money
