Night riding is a trip, specially on big weekends... butter cups lit up like a christmas tree  Im getting amped up! just came back in from changing the oil, cleaning filters, lube'n greasem lol Ready to rip rip shit up.. always wear a helmet out there man, not only may it save your life it will save you a lot of nose pickin and ear diggin

Forgot to mention weight as a factor, Haulers are a very light tire yet durable.. you want the least amount of weight rotating as possible on the sand.. use alum wheels with whatever tire you go with
-
Well, tires are more of a preference out there.. an angled paddle will give you better turning while sacrificing straight line grab, straight paddles will give you awesome hook but hinder your turning some... I prefer using a straight paddle tire..My vote is for an 8paddle hauler, expensive but they will hook nicely. if your looking to go cheap, a gbc sand devil is about the cheapest straight edge you can find.. they work ok, we have 2 devils 8's and 10's, sand skate 2's and a 10 paddle hauler on the cub. draw backs to these are the gbc paddle doesnt have much life, haulers are expensive, sand skates seem to use up the motor more, pro's- haulers have an awesome life span if your not peeling out on hard stuff, devils are cheap and you wont complain about paying to much if they dont work for you, skates turn nicely. If you have the money id say 8 paddle haulers, with some front sand tires.the sand is very fine and soft out there the more bite the better imo.. But like i said its preference

oh man your in for a treat  banshee's eat that shit up, you will make annual trips mark my words bro
-
if it ran fine before and just started id say check your air filter first then mess with the air screws.. never adjust the carbs with a used n dirty air filter
-
Think im the only one that prefers they be on there.. at a glance i can see if my shits low, and with laker plastic that means ALOT. pain in the ass to take off n put on just to check coolant. all good eitherway have a couple with one without
-
The south side always fills FAST, personally my favorite though..Man the rangers dont mess around anymore out there, they will straight throw your ass in jail if u fart the wrong direction.Im going to go where ever i can find a spot, plan on being there around noon on friday maybe earlier and finding a spot for a couple of people if possible, so far its looking like 5 shees and a couple dirt bikes in our group that should be a real pain in the ass finding anything for.

1 seal per side, no "inner crank seal" a paper test on a sparkplug hole? what the hell will that prove, man take that to a different shop because that alone tells me they didnt do a proper leak down test, sounds like an airleak to me or your throttles just getting caught in a bind somehow. eitherway whoever is doing the work sounds like they have no business inside a 2-stroke motor

It isnt as fun to ride i will say that much.. But i do love seeing all the stuff they got on huge weekends.. gotta get in one more good ride before my girl makes me start buying house crap, spent over 10k on my shees this year now she wants house stuff so there fixing to be put on the back burner for a month or so gotta get in a serious thrashin in before then, (maybe break something that way i just HAVE to fix it)

Sounds like he needs a cockmeat sandwich, idiot..

Heres my setup... 421 cub, port matched cases, the jugs have been cleaned up some by who i have no idea, 40mm keihins on 110 octane gas, v-force reeds, k&n, pd head custom domes, 190 psi, lockout clutch, small bore inframe cpi, timing 7, plus 4 swinger, dual rate elkas in front.. Im 6ft1 200lbs and i cant keep this thing on the ground with 10 paddle haulers. Thing is a RIOT to ride, i dune and drag it...to be honest i have no need for any more power unless i wanted to not dune it period and just go straight which im not willing to do.. a well built 421 is a mankiller imo  Im going to sandfest here in a couple weeks ill get some vids for yall, try and get it on a dyno if possible to, anxious to see what its pulling

dont waste your money on the oko's, the fuel inlet and bowl design are shit... No need to go bigger carbs from what you've stated as mods, 28 at most if you decide you just HAVE to have new carbs but dont give yourself the same headache i did with that junk
-
This has been gone over more than oj's trial man, theres pro's and con's to both...4-stroke powerplants bore me, i prefer the powerband of my shee's anyday of that baaaaaaa baaaaa baaaaa-rev limiter baaaaa baaaa BLAH, i wouldnt trade my blaster for a 450, dont care how ergo friendly they are, just doesnt do it for me

black bike in sig's sporting a 10 paddle devil, there an affordable option... i can tell you there a pain to turn IF you dont have front sand tires of some sort. I personally prefer a straight paddle for more straight line bite obviously, your not going to be whip'n donuts with em but they'll get you up the dunes..Im more of a speed junky so a straight paddle is what i prefer.. the left bike in the sig has sandskate 2's, feels to loose for me but turns like a champ... Either way the devils are cheap as hell and if ya dont like them, go throw some mud with em later

Grapes always a crowd pleaser, that is my favorite... love waiting in line at the entry gate at little sahara and blasting people with it  dont waste your money on the hawaiin punch, sucks
-
I run mc-1 in ALL of my 2strokes (even the weedeater)... pricey but a VERY consistant good oil, klotz is good shit to... i run it 40:1 though. got a clean filter? id lean more towards your airscrews if theres a bog at bottom.

Anyone ever been accused of owning stolen Banshee
jharader replied to F!NE DR!VE's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Run the vin. if it wasnt turned in being stolen, its your bike they have NO way of proven anything -
Ive owned ALOT of shit and i can say ive never "choped" a plug, ive had one motor meltdown, that was purchased in 99 and rode until late 07.... I agree with a previous post, do whatever u feel comfy doing.. its your machine, your checkbook but plug chops are by no means a neccessary procedure..

I dune my 421 cub with no problems, granted it takes a little more getting used to i straight fly threw some shit  why not consider the powervalve'd cylinders?? its going to cost ya round the same money getting a cub dialed in for that as just going with a prooven setup, just a thought.

Got an 86 fullsize 4x4 bronco id be willing to trade for some shee parts, needing suspension components and swinger back.. 351 windsor, rebuilt and drove for about 5000miles, c6 tranny bought from autozone, maybe 750 miles, believe it has a carter afb carb on it.. its not pretty and the interior is shot if i were to sale it id ask 1500 ( i put that in the motor and transmission alone) just sitting in a field rotting, what u got? thanks
