  1. What you dont think they will look good on white/blue "98 colors??? Now you got me thinkin....
  2. Heres a website I use for ordering stock stuff.... They have the absolute cheapest prices I've found for alot of shit. For example, I just ordered a shift shaft assembly for like $29.00. For aftermarket stuff just google places till you find the cheapest prices Stock Banshee Parts
  3. Anyone bought from this guy before? I've placed a bid and will own them in a day.... So let me know! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=260283827594
  4. I mentioned I needed a cross over tube in a random post... Jeremy mailed one to me and basically told me to pay him @ my earliest convenience. Doesnt get much better than that! Great guy.... Thanks again man! I owe ya
  5. I'll +1 the thanks to the Pro guys! Well deserved post here
  6. I think I'm living in the wrong state.... You guys are willing to help each other out wherever needed to get each other riding which I try to do with all my riding buddies (tried in the past anyway) Which is how it should be! But unfortunately I have a bunch of unorganized pain in ass friends who are (when it comes down to the come down) unwilling to go out of their way to help anyone out... Its bullshit really. Been going on so long I am @ the point where I just gave up and thought shit...... Maybe I'm the only one who tries to get as many ppl up as possible to ride?! But after reading this thread and talkin to MarineNYC (Sean) about a Cali trip.... I realized its only my group of jerkoff friends!!! Ah, sorry to steer your thread in a different direction I was just in aw of the commendatory of you guys... Good shit! Throw one back for the Ripper
  7. My one side (left to be specific) has worn a bit on the expansion chamber sleeve.... Whenever I remove the ehaust I usually use some copper sealant but it bugs me its not as snug as my other side and I'm sure it leaks (not a lot but enough) So my question is has anyone had this happen on one or both Jugs? And what did they do about it, or is there no permanent fix? I had the idea of using a rubber freeze plug and a torch to try to expand it to a snug fit but seems risky. Any input would be sweet, thanks guys
  8. Chromoly ASR's.... No doubt. Especially now they have some new style hiems... With some teflon rubber injected stuff... Funckin next level shit.. haha, I have them and ride the shit right outta them. No problems yet
  9. Thats kind off a goofy lookin' bike... Looks setup pretty nice though
  10. Look up a guy on ebay called SLCQUADCUSTOMS... Tell him "daacreeper" sent you, IMO you should purchace a round house swingarm -1. That would be perfect for you. And as far as the shocks stick with ELKa's. You could make the setup even nicer if you used the Long travel linkage Elka sell as well... but that another $400.00... My $0.02
  11. Turdo'd Raptor huh?? W/O paddle tires? Where the fuck do you ride that thing?
  12. Wish I had the time and money to travel for that..... If I did I'd be there for sure
  13. I know some of you guys have seen this pick... So I guess for those that havent, here is my "wherever I ride beast" It does just fine on an MX Track tho. I havent entered and raced any MX races but I would, I hang with fast guys on tRX's all day.... Like my buddies in the backround. Hes faster than me but doesnt make my bike look like it shouldnt be out there thats for sure. And there nothing hes hitting that I'm not either. So call it what youj will I guess, I know I'll take anyone who wants it in the trails tho! lol
  14. How those headlight lookin? Them bitches work or what? Both plastic cages/lenses not cracked?
  15. Get the shift pro kit and mod your stock shift star yourself... If you have access to a bench grinder and a right angle die grinder its cake.. Just make sure to not grind near the nuetral position on the star. As for the reast of the mountains... just make them a little less pointy and less tall on the bench grinder then w/ a brown 3m "cookie" smooth them out real good making sure no to leave burrs of any kind.
  16. Assuming you still have the stock clutch perch assembly?... Your shorting out somewhere in your harness or in your kill/run switch box... Look for frayed wires and a good place to start would be where all your wires funnel down thru near your steering stem...
  17. BUY THAT SHIT ANYWAY FOR 750 STUNAD!!!!! DECIDE WHAT YOUR GONNA SHOEHORN IT IN LATER!!!!
  18. Yo DSMRX-7... I just saw tis thread and noticed all the 2cd gen Rx's in that one pics backround.... Thats my favorite car man, you own all them? I'm lookin for a claen Turbo 2...
  19. You could stay stock width with a much better shock but IMO plus 2 front end with better shocks is a better move. I ride extremely tight trails alot and dont really have a problem... I wouldnt trade the stability I get from the width to be more narrow again. I actually am running plus three ASR Arms with 4 and 1 offset front wheels which puts me @ about plus 2 on the front end still (stock front offset is 3 and 2) acouple thing to remember when building a woods bike is travel in your shocks is key. you want your shocks to be able to fully compress and rebound rather quckly in the woods (stumps, rocks, other obstacles) These are settings you would want to change up to ride MX, your gonna set them up stiffer for that. Also, when looking at a arms you want to go with camber/ CASTOR adjustable arms... These two (when set up right) adjustments can make your shee steer much lighter thru the woods. Also, figure out your controls, are your bars @ a comfortable hieght? That is something that can be changed for fairly cheap. Make sure your comfortable with all your other controls as well, your thumb knuckle rubbing on something or an improperly position throttle or lever will fatigue you hands quick.
  20. They usually come with two spacers for each side.. A smaller one and a larger one. did you get 4 spacers? You are talkin horizontal play right? B/c if you talking clockwise/ counterclockwise play.... Your hubs are beat And btw, other people sometimes have problems with their axles b/c the bearings damn near almost weld themselves to the axle making the removal of the axle hell... Luckily you did'nt have that problem
  21. Hahahaaa... I wear some ARC riding socks (cheap but do the trick) Thor quadrant boots (compin' with A-Star 6's if you ask me) Shift assault zip off "over the boot" style pants (In the boot is for gays) Assault jersey camelback 80 oz (races here are 2 hours sometimes!) fox air frame chest protector shift assault gloves with 32145 holes in them (lucky gloves) arc neck brace (just the foam one) M2R Helmet Dragon goggles and a shit load of tear offs
  22. Wouldnr go minus 2... Id stick with -1... And there is nothing wrong w/ protapers in my book. And also what do you mean your gonna gat a metal shifter??? Is your banshee on of the rare models that came with a plastic one? And if you want to build a woods bike your first order of business should be your suspension and a nice set of pipes w/ low mid power range
  23. Yo Mofucka... I'll tell you what, thats a damn nice pic of your shee on the mountain.... And equally as nice is that avatar
  24. This is good guys..... The first step to being happy with how your banshee is is admitting you have a problem.
