  1. Is it built yet? All you have to do is take it to a local truckstop. Most, if not all, have scales to weigh 18 wheelers for their payload. You walk in and tell them what you would like weighed. Get two weigh slips. One with just the bike, and one with you sitting on the bike. That way, if you have a target weight in mind, you can drop some pounds to get down to race weight.
  2. Is it lightened at all or anything like that?
  3. Your letting your bike warm up properly right? When you do a plug chop. Try to get the bike warmed up on a set of old plugs. Once warm, switch the plugs to the new ones at the starting line of your WOT check. You had it right, when you said that you hit 6th and shut her down. Next time though, stay in 6th at WOT for 10 seconds or more. Then shut her down and coast to a stop. Pull the new plugs and put the old ones back in. Good luck!
  4. I'm curious to know what it is you are trying to find out.
  5. Thanks brother! I checked them out. Looks like there is more here than I thought.
  6. Akron? I'm in Massillon. I'm new to the area. Hit me up with some places to drag at man.
  7. GT Performance had a stock chassis I owned at one time, down to 262lbs. My +14 Wild West Welding chassis should weigh in at around 240lbs. My girlfriends YFZ450 weighs in at around 265.
  8. Nice. So have you ever been to Busco Beach before?
  9. I used to rock out of the E. Coast of N. Kakalaki less than a year ago. How close are you to here http://www.buscobeach.com/ . And if you go, make sure you post some pictures. There is a lot to do and see at the park. It could take you a weekend just to see it all! Dude, what year is your bike? That thing is clean!
  10. Holy ISH! This bike came together mad fast! Austin's gunna love it!
  11. For your sake. I hope you have the wrong post.
  12. :bunny: :bunny: Austin's gonna be stoked!
  13. Sorry guys I got sidetracked last night. Here are the pics.
  14. Got these pipes in today. Go to mock them up, the right side pipe doesn't fit my frame. I guess my motor sits too far off center because of how wide the chassis sits. So these pipes are up for sale or trade. Shearer Custom Pipes Big Bore Big Flange, 1 out each side, chromed. The chrome is not perfect and the right pipe has a spring tapped snapped off it from where I had to try and bang it with a hammer for it to clear. It will NOT affect the performance of the pipes whatsoever. I'll take $300 shipped for the pipes. (That's $100 a pipe, plus $100 in shipping) Or I need paddles. 24x11x9 14 rippers. Yes i'll put money on top. 22x11x8 12 or 13 hauler sls. 25x12x9 16 extreme sls. Yes i'll put money on top. Pics will be up by tonight!
  15. You could break that bike down to frame and get a half ass machinist to match the bent parts to another frame. Or you could take Matt up on his offer for 100 bucks. Turn around and sell it for 2500.
  16. I agree with Roger.
  17. Make sure your careful about what hoses you use. Radiator hoses are thick for a reason. There is a lot of heat that runs through a cooling system. I would hate to think of what would happen if you used a set of non cooling system hoses.
  18. All pipes come raw. Even the stupendous out of frame drag pipes. Usually the customer is the one who will chrome or powder coat them. Sometimes the manufacturers have a deal through someone local to them to get pipes chromed on the cheap. That way they make more money from you. If you find a good set of pipes on the cheap. Just get them sand blasted.
  19. Yes. Now on your way stop and get me in Ohio!
  20. Hmmm. I see both sides of this now. I completely disagree with how PS runs there site. I don't think that knowledge should have a price. I agree 100% with JB. I think that the upgrades are the little things and that the knowledge is what everyone is really here for. I just feel that with as many paying members as there is. That Lee can throw a little back at us, in the way of upgrades. It seems to me that it is no secret that Lee does not care to run this site anymore.
  21. Awww man! That PV Rotax would be sick in my new chassis! C'mon guys. 2 powersports toys with a trailer for under 5g's!! Where can you get a deal like that!? Free bump for a great deal!
  22. It's because you are putting no load on the motor in neutral. Then you kick it into first and now you have load. The other gears are only shifted under load. So therefore you don't notice it.
  23. Let me know if you part. I need the front and rear rims and tires. Front hubs. Axle and carrier. Radiator and gas tank with vavle. You sell these things to me and you can come down on the price to sell quicker!
  24. You are saying that you are ok with paying 1 person money to get answers from others? Are you sure you know where your money is going bro?
  25. Jesus man. That is one hell of a drunken rant.
