  1. I agree. I've said it before with changing the look of the forums with new banners and backgrounds. I seen a post on it and it didn't seem to go anywhere from there. The bandwith was not a problem before, but with the growing population here, it needs to be addressed, and quickly. Before paying members like myself start to take our hard earned money elsewhere. Tyler, I understand that you are just learning all about HTML and all that. And I would like to extend my hand and gratuity to you, for taking on the task. But we are giving money to Lee. These are his problems and not yours. As premium members, we are getting ripped off. Including you Tyler.
  2. I would say that having two bikes is a great idea. As long as you have the scratch to do it. Drag bikes are not cheap to build. They are also not cheap to maintain. Also remember, that if you have two bikes. That when you do go somewhere you are going to want to take both bikes. Do you have a way to transport two bikes at once? Having to get a bigger truck and trailer could be an unexpected expense.
  3. Did I say anything about it being ok? I agree. He should make it right and that from Jan. to now. Is a lot of time.
  4. Heh. That's awesome! I never thought of putting something over the exhaust. That makes more sense! Hmmmm. I'm going to have to look into this some more. Oh. And that is exactly what I was talking about for the 2-1 intake!
  5. Those plastics are not bad at all! Free bump for a great price on some custom plastics!!!
  6. Hmmm. I'm not feeling it bro. I think the colors are awful. On everything. The green is a great color. The purple is a great color. Both in their own way, displayed by themselves. What i'm trying to say is, I think that with that nice of a frame. You should compliment it with solid colors. I see that you don't like to polish things. That's fine. Take back the purple parts and make them green. Or take back the green and make them purple. I myself have not decided on a color yet for mine. So my plastics are stock Krylon satin black. Whenever I get a scratch on them. Just touch it up. This is my old stock frame. Same plastics.
  7. If I remember correctly. I think he travels a lot for work. So when he gets home, he puts up the stuff that he has for sale. Then turns around and goes on his business trip. When he gets back from that one, he'll post more stuff and ship the stuff that he sold last time. I have never heard of him ripping anybody off. Just takes a while. Make sure you put his name in the "HQ @#@% List" thread so that everybody will know.
  8. Damn. It's 6 hours from me. I would be down for showing up.
  9. Right on. How does she run now?
  10. Yep. Thanks Dave. What you should do is, make a PVC pipe end with the cap in your correct size. Put the cap and pipe together. Then drill the holes. One on each side of the pipe. So now instead of having 1 gauge or 1 valve stem, coming out of the top. You will have 1 valve stem coming out of the right side of the pipe, and 1 gauge coming out of the other side of the pipe.
  11. American Racers SD23's, powered by a 14mil stock frame. That's only a +8 swinger too. Trust me, they hooked everytime. Wish I could've gotten some better times before the bike took a shit.
  12. That's a good leakdown!
  13. I have some ideas on how this could be accomplished. I am just going to leave it up to somebody who has done it before though. I have never dealt with PV cylinders. I would hate to give an idea for you to try, only for you to screw something up. Anybody have any experience with PV cylinders and trying to do a leakdown?
  14. I was going to say the same Dave. I think the 4mil DMX STARTS at like 150hp.
  15. I tried using an adjustable wrench on my plugs and they kept backing out. I thought they were tight enough. Eventually I broke down and bought a socket. No more problems.
  16. I think you're going to have to find a way to plug off the PV's. Kinda like with the exhaust ports. Did you make the one that I showed?
  17. "HQ shit list". Hahaha More mods could be a good idea. Just have to figure out the right ones for the job.
  18. Shearers and CPI's usually run about the same price. Wether they are for inframe or out of frame. When you get a motor built, usually the builder, will tell you exactly which pipes to run. It's all about the exhaust transfers and how they were ported. As far as the gain between inframes and out of frames. The out of frames will give you more horsepower.
  19. DM equals badass! Haha. Shayne is correct. I have a 74.5 bore Cheetah.
  20. Sounds like you might have welded you're clutch ball to the clutch rod or clutch adjuster. No big deal. Happens to the best of us. Pull the pressure plate off and see what's up. You should be able to see what happened as soon as you take the pressure plate off.
  21. You could've stripped the threads when you were tightening down on those plugs. Are you tightening them with a correct size socket. Or are turning them with a wrench? Have you checked the plugs since this started?
  22. Wesely Pipes man.
  23. I'm in Massillon man. I seen your ad on CL, and wanted to give you a call. But there is no phone number! I wanted to ask you a few questions about riding around here. PM your number man. I'd like to talk to you. Maybe you wont have to give her up just yet.
  24. I would be down for this man. All depends on wether my bike is correct by then or not. I'll let you know. Good luck.
