  1. Nitrous in a quad, whether two or four strokes, acts the same way as in a car. If tuned properly it will make them fast as hell. I'm building a very low compression YFZ450 motor right now. Hope to shoot a very big shot of "drugs" right in the intake. You also never want to mess with the big 4x4's that have a hidden hair dryer size turbo. You will lose everytime. Hahaha.
  2. No shame in asking questions man. We might give you a bunch of slack for it, but you can assure that on this site, someone will give you the correct answer to a legit question. That is the reason why people continue to be members here. So stop thinking about what it is, and get in there and find out. You'll never learn a thing if you don't practice. By the way, do you have a Clymers Manual? That thing is a true ATV owners best friend! It has similar troubleshooting questions listed inside.
  3. Hell yeah Kevin. Way to take care of them boys over in the biggest un-rideable sandbox EVER!
  4. Psssh. That bitch be camo! I would also like to hear a list of mods.
  5. WTF are you talking about Willis? That post made no god damn sense. Try punctuating.
  6. If he can take a dick. He can take a joke.
  7. If your bolts and gasket were properly installed to Yamaha's specs. You shouldn't find any leaks. Over tightening the bolts will get it to pass the leakdown test, but will later on cause more problems. If you find a leak coming from the cases, then you will have to take it back apart. (Your leakdown SHOULD be done with both side covers off. That way you can see if you have a case leak.) If the leak is in your intakes, you might get away with some RTV. If the leak is in your tester (Very common), just use some more Yamabond to seal the caps. So, I guess to answer the question...It depends on where the leak is.
  8. Hahaha. I'm not sure what it is he is selling? I'm confused. Punctuation is our friend!
  9. Yup. One more thing to check out. Look at the bearing for the steering stem.
  10. Are any of your ball joints at a "tweaked" angle? That's what it sounds like to me. Especially if it gets better at speed, because your bike squats more at speed. So it would make the ball joints at less of an angle. Check over your stuff before you have to start replacing ball joints all the time.
  11. Very impressive times for your first time on a real track. Congrats. Now you have the bug. Hahaha. And you thought you were hooked before. I'm sure you noticed how much different it is, to launch on a track, with a wheelie bar, as opposed to launching in the dunes, with shaws. At the track it doesn't matter how much power you have. It's how much power you get to the ground. Now it's all about chassis tuning my friend. You got the motor. Now get it to hook! Good luck. And have fun. Because this is truly the fun part. Now that you know the motor is strong.
  12. Tyler (Loco) has a 10mil that he beats the piss out of! I've seen many videos of him jumping the thing. A couple different guys on here have 535cc Cheetah's that they use for a trail bike! Those have 10mil cranks in them. I would go for it. It would keep up with that Raptor, that's for sure. Just get a lockup and a duneable trans.
  13. Yeah. With a screen name like "Ineedmoney". I don't think you have enough to race with the Southern boys. Those guys are VERY serious about racing. Whether it's on dirt or on asphalt.
  14. I'll believe it. A drag axle is a considerable amount of less weight. The least amount of centrifugal mass that you can have, the faster you will go. Now I don't know if he really did lose that much time off his E.T., but I know you will lose some.
  15. Now that looks like some mad editing/illustration skill!
  16. There might be a handful, but I don't think too many guys, run Nitrous on this site. Try ATVDragracers. Might get some pics of four strokes, thrown in there. But hey, it's better than nothing!
  17. I agree. Powder coated cases are a great idea. Try using a different oil. Then you will know for sure.
  18. I don't have a Banshee. I wish I did. I got a YFZ450 that I will bring to the plate though. Go ahead and kick me too dumbass. Let me ask you a question, kid. Do you hang out on here and start shit because you don't have friends to start shit with? Where are your parents? I have seen quite a few cases with your condition. I suggest your parents take you to a Mental health Professional immediately. Tyler, what is this kid still doing here? We have kicked people off for way less. It was funny at first.
  19. Haha. Nope. She is spoken for still though.
  20. I have seen these in person. Very nice and worth it! JD. I'm going to set up a link to YFZtech for you.
