  1. 2003 Yamaha Banshee with tons of extras: Toomey T5 pipes with their perfect jetting Pro-Design Cool Head with 21 cc domes for pump gas Boyesen pro series reeds and spacers K&N powerlid G-force extended axle YFZ450 front suspension with LTR450 shocks, comp. and rebound adj. oversize 5.6 gal. Baja fuel tank Trail Tech vapor computor Adjustable stator plate UM full size nerf bars Teather switch high flow water pump impeller Was re-rung, new clutch, new rear and swingarm bearings, cool head, impeller, reeds and spacers all installed last summer or since then. I have most all stock parts that I will include with the sale. I really like it, runs like crazy, but thinking a utility would suit me better right now with the kids so I'm reluctantly selling. Pics coming soon. Just to be clear, I am in no rush to sell, so no stupid offers. Located near Gettysburg, PA.
  2. Did you check your float level and needle valve?? Mine did that and found my needle valve wasn't seating and made that cyl. smoke before the other side at an idle.
  3. I have a vapor on mine and love it. Easy to install and adjust. Easier to judge when to flush trans, etc. If you have access to a GPS you can really dial in the speedo. Plus, as an added bonus, you can PROVE how fast your shit really is...or isn't with the max speed recall!!!
  4. I used LTR450 shocks so the suspension travel wasn't limited by the ball joints. The balljonts aren't binding and the wheels are at stock offset. Any more guesses???
  5. Is this normal?? It's not bad at speed, the faster the better. But if running slow or stopped it's way harder to move the bars than stock. It's all yfz450 from the frame to the wheels with ltr450 shocks and +2 banshee tierods. I regreased all the balljoints and tierod ends and still hard to steer. Any input anyone???
  6. My banshee did the same thing, never smoked and ran like crazy.......until I went through a creek and the idle went way up. Washed it the next day, same thing until I rode it a little then the idle dropped. Turns out the clown I bought it from used red rtv on cometic gaskets and had a leak !! I'd check for an airleak to be sure you're not riding a timebomb. At 32:1, it should smoke a little when you baby it.
  7. Here is the link: www.rameyfirecompany.com/poker-runs.html A volunteer fire company puts it on, so it's for a good cause. Open to bikes, quads, utv's. Went 2 yrs ago and had a blast!! Was about 30 miles with a little of everything( mud, small hillclimbs, woods riding mostly).
  8. Holy S**T! Exact same thing happened to me Sunday with a set of FLY bars.
