  1. Umm yeah. It's official. I have decided to get out of the military and work at a minimum wage, dead end job and have 15 kids running around so that I can collect welfare. Why? Because the welfare budget just got incresed. And it is an easy life.
  2. I'm not sure, but I think your gas tank is in the wrong place man. Just kidding. That's a great deal! Somebody needs to snatch it up! Wish I needed shorter. I need longer!
  3. Right on man. I'm a Navy Corpsman serving with 2nd Marine Division right now. Corpsman UP! I thought you had asked about switching your carbs and reeds. My fault. Cleaning them is a great idea. Never hurts. The more you keep your bike clean and free of debri, the better you are off. Especially riding in sand. For your plugs, NGK iridiums. Same damn thing you run in your boosted Honda. Lol. The BREX9I. It's something like that.
  4. Ok. Welcome to the site. Nice name. And thank you for serving from one Armed forces member to another! To answer your questions. A. Don't worry so much about your carbs and reeds. You can worry about swapping those out if the bike doesn't run right. Same thing with your domes. B. Methanol does have a shelf life, just not as long as a gasoline based fuel. What I do is mix Klotz Super-Techniplate with my methanol at 32:1. I do not suggest going to far from that starting point in either direction. C. Your gear oil is up to you. I have heard of people running different things in there, but most will tell you to run ATF type-F. Make sure it is type-F. And last but not least, for a new banshee owner, have fun. Judging from your sig pic, you have yourself a nice bike there. The maintenance can be overwhelming at times, but that is half the fun. Just don't get discouraged and ask lots of questions when you get stuck. Most of the guys on here are pretty helpful to a guy in need. - Justin
  5. This beer is on me buddy! Congrats!
  6. I have a problem with one of my intake boots. So I want to replace both at the same time. I am looking for the UPP ones that are for the TRX250R and the ATC250R. I also need the ones that are for 39 Mikuni's. Thanks
  7. The only kind of love song that I listen too. The lyrics are actually very touching. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0APr2Zo4oE Their other stuff is amazing too!
  8. Ohhhh! I thought you meant that the iPod wouldn't hook up. Lol I'm retarded.
  9. Bahahaha! "Panty dropper" With a cute little kid on it! :woot:
  10. I have not personally bought anything from Tim. (Yet!) But he is a really great guy and is always willing to lend a helping hand for whatever questions I have. No need to worry about doing business with this old man! :woot:
  11. Hahaha. What do you think Tim? Sound alright? Did I forget anything?
  12. Ooooo. This is going to be fun. Finally someone with money. Lol. First of all. You should drop the money anyway. Considering your prolly going to be around for a while if you do build a drag bike. Lol. So we are going to start off with your choice of motor builders. You have(no particular order); LC Performance, Herr Jugs Racing, F.A.S.T., A&S Racing, Passion Racing Engines, K&T Performance, Twister crankshafts, White Knuckle Racing, Mattoon Machine, Wicked ATV and Packard Racing. That is just a few that I can think of right now. There are a lot more. There are also some that are coming into the business as I write this. So, we should talk about crank sizes. If you want to go the cheapest route for a nice drag motor, get a 4mil crank. Once you order your 4mil crank, send your jugs off to one of the fine businesses I mentioned earlier, and ask them to drag port it. You could also ask them to bore it 68 over. Now you have a 421 Cub. So then let's talk about the fuel. You have a pretty powerful motor. Mine as well back it up with some good fuel. Go with methanol. You might want to go with 35mm PWK's set up for alky. Now, to get her to breath. Grab up some CPI inframes. With all of that, your motor builder will be able to tell you what kind of head and domes you'll need. A +4 swingarm will get you in the right direction for that longer stance. As far as suspension goes. Marvin shaws are a great way to lighten up your bike a little bit. That will rely heavily on what you do with the bike though. I say go with the shaws, if you are just going to drag it. If not then you are going to have to find another way. Also, if you are going to just drag it, keep the same width on the a-arms, just get ones that are +1 or +2 forward. And that my friend, is a nasty drag bike. And hey, I left you with some money for tires!
  13. Ummmm, movies. Yeah that's it. Movies.
  14. Ummm if they say Mikuni on them. Then you might want to measure the size of them. They maybe to big for that bike. Or to small.
  15. I appreciate you taking the time to copy and paste that. But, I am not even going to waste my time reading it. Because, it was written by somebody who has never set foot on hostile foreign soil.
  16. How hard is the President's job? Are you kidding me? No no, you're seriously kidding me right now. Ummm you are trying to get a man elected who doesn't have a damn clue about what it takes to be in office of the most powerful nation on earth. To make the call on the wealth, health and pure direction of our country that I have fought for overseas in two combat tours. Lost sooo many of my friends and comrads. Opening body bags to confirm the innocent. Covered miles upon miles of that fucking country on foot and in a vehicle so you can put a man in office that has 143 days of fucking experience. Fuck you.
  17. I have nothing to say about Obama being intelligent or not. But come on bro. This is our country we have at stake here. Inexperience should be a HUGE deciding factor!
  18. Well if your just trying to have fun then go for it! I have a feeling that the 4-snow's would just spin and make you drift. Try going out to the ice and looking at all the other bikes first. See what they are running. For a shortage of funds though, the 4-snow tires are a great deal. I think 65 bucks a set new.
  19. The 4-snows are kinda like a cross between a very shallow paddle rear tire, and a mowhawk front. It's kind of hard to explain, but that is also how they perform. They are very similar to Pro-Wedge II's, which are a good tire for hard packed dirt. Now the way they work is to cut through the snow and get traction by biting on the semi-hard surface. Basically in order for them to work properly, you would need to have something soft for them to bite on. So unless this ice your planning to race on has snow on top. Don't bother. By the way, who in the hell does non-studded ice racing anyway??
  20. Justin, hey i'm Justin. J/k man. You are going to end up paying out the ass for a brand new motor. You would actually pay out the ass for a used stock motor. Take the moeny you would spend on a new one and tear yours down and start over. From what I have found out. You could build a 4mil cub with a lot of goodies for right around 2k. That's a lot cheaper than spending around 1k on a fresh motor and then starting to build it up.
  21. I have a guy in town who does mine and my buddies vinyls. I can take him a prototype. Just need to know the size. P.s. Anybody who can make "signs", should be able to do vinyl in your area as well.
  22. Sweet. I just want to see more pictures!
