  1. That's what I have been doing wrong this whole time. I was drinking during the build!
  2. That is the best advice I have heard yet. It's true. I just got finished getting mine ready. 3 months and in the vicinity of $13,000 later, she runs! I always loved the look of banshee's. So I stuck with a stock chassis. Mine was lightened by GT Performance from 46lbs to 26lbs though. Very competitive! Don't forget to let us know how it goes.
  3. Hahaha in the last picture, with all the guys drinking. The girl sitting in the background has a look on her face that just says "Ah, boys will be boys". Lol. Priceless!

  5. There's some pretty mean machines in there! The chassis flex on some of those are awesome! Nice pics man. Looks like a lot of fun.

I'll pay homage to an old kick ass thread! Ass, titties and my ex-wife! Wo0T!!!! Ass, titties, ass and titties... Wait! Here's my proof that she was mine. Cheese and rice! I look like Oprah's white brother from another mother in that picture! That bitch really did make me pack on pounds! Now I got my womanly shape back!
  7. I'll say it before somebody else rips your head off. Location and price? Nice bike by the way. If I hadn't just got done building mine, I would consider it.
  8. Yeah, that dude's an idiot. Did you see the pictures? Some of them don't even make sense. It's probably some poor kid who can't afford a shee.
  9. Ohhhhh ok. Then I was doing it right. You had me a little scared. Hahaha. My buddies are always wondering why I tip my bike. They think it will hurt her!
  10. I thought that running the bowls dry was a really bad idea? Whether it be alky or purge??
  11. Hey, we just repeat what the books we studied read to us. Hahaha! Even after surgery, you might be able to still ride. The doctor is just covering his ass by telling you to quit. That way if you do have an accident, he can say "Hey, I told him not to anymore". It seriously is a liability issue. My roomate had a pretty bad motorcycle accident about 1 1/2 years ago. He's back on and feeling like a million bucks after 5 screws in his shoulder from a 180 degree slap tear. So, don't always suspect that surgery is a bad thing. I mean yeah he has aches and pains still, but it doesn't keep him from riding! Good luck man! Let me know if he tells you something that don't sound right!
  12. All that money and he has a boost bottle!? What is with these people!?
  13. Not bad at all man! The tree is not the easiest thing to learn with a clutch. I have the wheelie bar on my bike and it is nice to rely on. Also, I don't have front brakes. Those are great for launching. Don't the bikers give some badass looks when you line up? Hahaha.
  14. I would say, that judging by the picture in your signature, you would probably want to stick with inframes. You don't really want to jump anything with OOF's. There is really only one mounting point. As far as difference, you'll get a little more power out of the OOF. Almost like straight pipes for a small block Chevy.

I just got mine today for my 40mm Mikuni's. I had to order them through the stealership. Doesn't matter where you go. Just need to make sure you tell them the I.D. (Inner diameter) and the O.D. (Outter diameter). Plus the length that you need. Good luck!
  16. It depends on the motor builder. EVERY motor builder has a different way of doing it. Mine on my 14 mil was to do 3 heat cycles, then do a break in pass. Meaning, drive it like you stole it. Where in upstate NY you from?
  17. Just say NO to boost bottles.
  18. Figures. Now all I gotta do is go for it. Thanks for all the input guys.
  19. Mine are welded! Lol. I'm so screwed.
  20. That's what i'm sayin' man. I have tried heating it with a torch, then put the socket on top of it right away and tried to clamp it out. Still nothing. You think I would be able to just cut it in half carefully with a dremel and take it out in pieces?
  21. Yeah yeah! That's it! "Sleeve"! How do I cut that F*^ker out? Without ruining my mount?
  22. I guess i'm not wording everything right. I'll try to get up pictures and see if that will help at all.
  23. You mean on top and bottom of the mount?
  24. Hey, just wanted to get some opinions on this. I have welded lower motor mounts. So when I launch it is more stable. So you can see my dilema, when trying to get the old motor bushings out of the mounts. I am not talking about the rubber part. I can get that baby out. I am talking about the outer metal washer type thing that holds the whole bushing together. If you don't know what i'm talking about i'll try to explain. I ordered new bushings from the stealership because mine were kinda old. When I received the new ones this is what came with it; The inner metal washer that the bolt slides through to screw into the bottom of the cases. The rubber bushing surrounding that. Then another metal washer on the outside encompassing the whole bushing. I guess all of that together makes the bushing. That is what is supposed to drop into the lower mounts. Well I can't seem to get the old outer metal washer out of the mount. It seems to be fused for some reason. I have tried heating and banging and even c-clamping. Anybody have this problem before? Or am I just reading way to much into this?
  25. I got my 18t front from Sprocket Specialists. It was like 20-30 bucks.
