  1. i baught brand new trail techs torches, they didnt last buy maybe a week and both bulbs burned out, funny thing it was, they lasted an entire weekend at the dunes, then i loaded the bike on the trailer, they works, got home and unloaded the bike and both filaments were broke...guess the ride home was too rough...=\ emailed customers service and so far havent heard anything back yet.
  2. baught the x-ring stuff, i know on your site it has a high tensile stregth, iv always kept it lubed and adjusted. just seems like it would never stop stretching and then i ran out of adjustment on the carrier, i baught all new bearings for the carrier and works pivot bearing kits at the same time along with new gears when i put the chain on. now i have taken 1 entire link out of it, and had to remove the bottom chain roller to give it enough slack to connect it back together except for when i sit on it, it makes the chain unbearably tight?
  3. thanks guy, im down for friday man. not sure when im getting down there either wednesday night or thursday around noon
  4. its a 2x5, physicaly its like 21"x57" I added some yellow behind the red, felt like it needed a little more, i put the saying from the proof on the back side of it along with my handle, and name. figure anyone who camps under it ought to sign their name to the back of it.
  5. banners ready
  6. my vote would be go back to stock pilot, iv talked with lonnie at sandtrax and jeff at fast racing, both of them have said you generally should never have to change your pilot jet, it can always be adjusted out with needle and air/fuel screws,. go back down to 25 pilot and move the needle down to lean it out a little, stay with 280 main
  7. thanks guys, ill make the banner monday, the chain already has 2 master links in it cut it a link short when i first got it. problem is when i take one out. move the carrier to the closest spot i can, i cant get the chain over the tooth to put the single link back in. theres just not enough adjustment left in the carrier. ill probably take a look at it all tomorrow, maybe its stretched enough this trip to finish making it hopefully.
  8. generally the more the timing is advanced the more heat build up occures, the adjustible timing plates have timing marks, just pull the cover off and see what it says, iv never heard of an adjustible stator. just make sure you have plenty of water or engine ice in there. make sure its full. and make sure the impellar is good. then check your PSI, 19cc domes may require high octane gas depending on your PSI, that could be the culprit too. all should be fine after that. if you still have problems make a general post in the modifications & parts forum.
  9. Not sure if im in for sure or not yet. hopefully i will be though more then likly hey tnt and zach this work for you guys? add or subtract? white banner 2'x5' with ropes and grommets?
  10. you find a spot yet zach? im debating if i can afford to go or not...the chain i baught from fast stretched so bad i need a new one, and its only been 4 months on it. gotta get new rear gear too because of that crap . before i do anymore riding.

  13. just let me know what you want it to say lol. i found an old 2x5 banner in stock yesterday that'll be perfect.
  14. user error more then likely you have either put them in wrong, pressed on them in the wrong spot when you installed them. didnt pack them with grease or your swing arm is tweaked putting extra stress on them. or baught shitty grade bearings. please tell us how you installed the bearings into your swing arm.
  15. i dont know, probably not your not talking about night and day difference. 1-4 is slightly noticeable after that its just by feel try it and find out
  16. you probably cant tell to much of a difference between 4-5-6 degrees, more timing, the more chances you have of detonation. you might have to switch to 110 octane, if you already run 110 octane then go ahead and bump the timing up more.
  17. Man, that was one great trip!, had an absolute blast, thanks to all the hq guys who talked me into letting you guys fix my bike when i had lost hope, zach for scooping up all the spots for us to camp and playing doctor, jim and bob for thanks for the work you guys did too and letting me kinda take your pancake bearing. its that thought that counts atleast right? lol, jeff, thanks for lunch of saturday man, dogs were good, and the beer was damn cold. spurdy, i didnt relize that was you in the hjr shirt. zach, jim, bob, shannon, PM me your addresses, and ill mail these stickers out this week to you.

  23. my buddys got a 18v dewalt xrp, its got a little more power then my sears 18v impact mine only cost 60 bucks and i believe he paid well over 180 for his. i also use mine every day and rarely find bolts that i cant take off. going on 2 years with it, and about 30 drops from waist hight
  24. you guys are idiots......the end. you better hope no one from the atf is reading this forum or youll be getting your asses handed to you.
  25. generally 110 to 130 is ideal. 100 is somewhat ok, anything lower then 100 is in need of a rebuild for stock motor. some have ran with 90 psi but, i generally only let my cylinders drop about 10-15 from the original PSI it put out.
