  1. My method is the same as loco's. When I rebuilt mine a couple 3 years back I let it warm up and then run the piss out of it. I've read and talked to many different sources whom say this is the best way to break a bike in. Yamaha and others will recommend lightly running the bike for so many tanks of gas before running it hard though.
  2. That was my main concern. I am looking at just getting a standalone A arm frame and use all my 2g harness, lights, coil etc on the a arm frame.
  3. Thanks Can anyone confirm this?
  4. I currently have a complete rolling chassis from an 89 j-arm frame. I would like to switch over to an a-arm. My question is will all the parts (besides j travel arms) bolt onto the a-arm frame? Like the front hubs and such.
  5. Lol The polls really dont mean anything whether they come from one news station to the next. Im not and never will vote for a socialist who wants to give money to people who haven't ever done a fucking thing in their life but think they deserve it. I cant believe im posting in this thread again...
  6. Yep, nobody in their right mind would trade a set of toomeys for a mismatched pair and for the most part undesired pipe. I would get what I could out of them and buy a nice set of toomeys or whatever you want.
  7. GT is mjv42085, I play cod4 when I am on
  8. Post some pics of the holeshots.
  9. That is one of the better looking and most complete sport bike conversions i've seen.
  10. Looks like you guys had a good turnout and a good time. It sounds like mispelled had a pretty good day (compared to past experiences) It sucks balls for me because all of you guys are northerners and it would take me like 4 or 5 hours and quite a bit of gas money to get up there.
  11. Hit the rear brake and pull up on the handlebars if the nose is diving. Get a set of nerf bars to keep your feet and ankles from being scooped up by the rear tires
  12. I know, I guess I will just run em for now
  13. Didnt recieve pics...
  14. You got a helluva deal my friend. Welcome back.
  15. Please send pictures of the uncut black and uncut white plastics to [email protected] Ty
  16. If your looking for top end pro-circuit pipes shouldn't even be in your bag of options...
  17. All bullshit aside, adding a boost bottle is by far the biggest money/power ratio mod you can do to your bike. I mean didnt you see the dyno a couple posts up?
  18. Defragmentation of your hard drive will make a big difference if you have alot of shit on your computer and you've never heard of it before. If you dont store alot of files, programs you should'nt need to do a defrag.
  19. Here is my set of dmc's, nothing ugly imo about them
  20. I dont really see how any given sets of pipes can be ugly, besides if they are either rusted out to hell and really bad looking cosmetically or your still running stock pipes. I would be asking what kind of performance gains you would get out of the pipe your looking for with mods or not, not whether it sounds "cool" or not because quite frankly all of them are going to sound good with some better.
  21. Yes please somebody buy these, I dont think im going to use them because of reasons listed above. But I definetely wont give them away, these arms are not manufactured anymore. I can tell just from holding them that these are solid arms and beat the piss out of the stock J's. Somebody with a jframe has got to want to take these off my hands.
