They are very good bikes for drag racing, running the dunes, playing around. They dont make for a very good mx bike when stock and some people will even say after spending alot of money on suspension, etc its still not a really great bike for mx. There is a wide variety of aftermarket parts available, just look around for them and you'll see. Look around on this site also, theres alot of different people with alot of different setups.

Im pretty sure i've got two extra idle screws laying around. If I can find them you can have them.

I would start with replacing the spark plug coil with a known working one and going from there. If the lights still come on while your trying to kick it over your stator is good.

I dont know the rules in that state but it seems to me that shooting one or two of them in the leg would've been appropriate. Im just glad it ended in an overall good ending and that you and your banshee are okay.

First thing I would do is ditch Norton all together, I hate that shit. I use zonealarm firewall along with adaware se and everythings been good for the last 2 years. I dont think the free version of ad-aware will delete them it just finds them right? I've got a couple license keys for full version of SE if you'd like.

Paddleboy and Loco are correct in thought. You would be better off starting a club and making your forum home here at bansheehq rather than creating your own site or forum. It takes alot of work and time to maintain a forum/get hits when all your out to do is try to get people together in SA. You dont want to sacrifice all your riding time trying to maintain a banshee site do ya? Whatever you end up doing I hope you get something going on down there. :biggrin:

Dont really see what the big deal about it is. The guy is just trying to start a site and involve people on his side of the world, you dont need anybody's approval from here. Im not saying its a great idea to come here and advertise but really what does it matter? good luck with your forum 2strokespirit.

If its bogging its because your dumping to much fuel in to be burned.

There are a couple different kits out there, toomey is one of them. A complete kit should consist of the throttle cable with carb tops (cant remeber if it comes with slides?) idle screws, drill bit and tap. It makes everything alot easier to fool with.

If you were running the tap dry and you tell vito's that they will more than likely give you no sympathy. I just tapped my new carbs (thanks deerekiller) the other day. Tapped them dry and used a pair of pliers to turn the tap, all went well for me that time but it was very nerve racking. When I tapped my old carbs the tap that came with the kit could be used in a drill, I just drilled the tap into the carb on low gear and ran it back out and I was good to go.

Thats what im saying, 400$ isn't very much money when it comes to spending it on aftermarket parts. But if you can vastly improve an area of your bike for that much money f*** it do it man.

I've ran pre-mix weedeater gas in my banshee before. But only as a last resort and never regulary.

The DNR here are just a bunch of average joes that make 8$/hour. They stay over at Lincoln State Park which is about a 12 mile stretch from where I live. Next week I have to finish up over 100hrs of commuity service over there working with them and im not looking forward to it. Anyways you got the ticket, I agree with bansheeeman from san diego on this one, its really up to the officer whether or not you were in violation of possibly creating a hazard. I know its Indiana though, I think that all the time
