  1. yeah maybe, but another thing is that on the box it came in it said both blaster and banshee bumper. I just assumed they were the same?? Maybe they are way different. HMMM, anyway Im sending it back and getting the right one or my money. thanks for the help
  2. What size front wheels are you running? and tires as well. I love how they look right now.
  3. Like its way off, there is no way its the right one. The mounting bars on the top are about an inch to narrow, and the bottom doesnt even have bars that go to the mounting holes it just has a plate that looks like a skid plate, with the holes directly in the front. THIS is the auction but of course it doesnt show the exact one. I have been watching though and they have been selling a lot of these. So I think I just got one that was boxed wrong.
  4. Hey guys, I bought a bumper off ebay and it is brand new still in the box. It says it is for a 05-06 banshee??? and it doesnt line up at all! I searched around to see if there was a change but I havent found anything in the forum. Also, my banshee doesnt have bumper now or when I bought it. The bumper just mounts to the four holes right in the front of the frame right? 2 on each side facing towards the wheels? thanks guys I just need to make sure before I send it back and look like an idiot. Terry
  5. Old post, but does anyone know if the red on the 96 red and yellow bikes is different then other years? I am trying to find red rad and gas covers to replace my yellow but they are always a lot darker red. I dont know if my plastics are that faded but they are a more orange red then the other reds I see. It has always been garage kept, and even under the stickers its not as dark red as I see from other years. anybody know?
  6. Ok, so I am going to relocate my key to under the seat and then run a tethered kill switch on the bars. I want to get rid of the factory headlight and on/off switch. I want to add another switch hidden somewhere on the frame that will just turn the lights on and off. Now, do I need any kind of special switch to make the lights go from off to highs? or will a simple on and off toggle switch work? Thanks Terry
  7. Yeah I started reading this not knowing its an old post. lol! I was like WTF!!!! Its around 2.87 here for 89 in Southwest MO.
  8. Ive had these for a short time. They seem top notch. No issues with them so far. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-Bans...sspagenameZWDVW pretty cheap too.
  9. I use dreamhost.com for my hosting. Its is insanely good. Very cheap and you can TONS of bandwidth and storage. Check out some of there packages on there. It has been perfectly reliable as well.
  10. I run the pro design intake with a k&N with no lid. It works totally fine for me, never had any problems. I do have some water issues when I hit a big puddle or creek to fast, so I couldnt imagine having just pods. I might try and fab up some sort of lid that still breathes really well, but its a problem that doesnt happen that often.
  11. try this site http://www.angelfire.com/az3/quicksandraci...inframeset.html
  12. Well what are the other options if no ones wants to go with RS? I know you can get stock ones from other people but what about the 200w version? Does anyone else make anything like this? I have there tie rods and I think they work great! lol

    Brake lever

I appreciate that man. Just let me know! How you like the ASV brake lever? I have the shorty clutch lever and it is pretty nice. I cant spend the 80 bucks on a brake lever right now, but hopefully soon I can find on cheaper. thanks Terry

    Brake lever

I somehow bent my stock brake lever adjustment screw and its a really wierd thread size. I cant find any around here. Does anyone have a lever or just the screw laying around they want to get rid of? I just need a quick fix until I get something aftermarket. thanks Terry
  18. I run 50:1 belray hr1 or the other, mc something. Have been for years and no problems. The bikes 11 years old and has never had a topend done. The compression is starting to go down but the cylinder walls look great.
  19. I was actually going to start a topic about this tonight. I have run 340's in the middle of summer and I have 350's in now. It seems to be slightly lean on the very topend. As the weather gets colder I think I will go up to a 360. I need to do a chop to be sure. Now I have very very few mods but right now, everything is near perfect. I dont foul plugs and my bottom and mid range are amazing. stock pilots and dynajet needles around 4th clip (i think) I dont know if it is the older fmf gold pipes but I seriously have always had huge jets in this thing. My elevation is around 1200 ft I believe. It always seemed like they were to big but I it works? Does anyone have any thoughts to why things are so different between bikes?
  20. yeah thats a good point, I didnt even think of steel rims. I will look into how much heavier they are. thanks
  21. Yeah I was gonna do the PC ones, didnt think of the polishing part! That would probably look sick! thanks
  22. Hey guys, I am wondering what you guys feel the strongest rims are. I know the hipers are pretty amazing but I dont think they will be in my budget. I was wondering how much of a difference there is between the baja wheels and say a beadlock. I ride a lot of really rocky trails and I gone through 3 sets of ITP .190s. I just dent the hell out of them. I have never rolled a tire. They were all really cheap to replace so I didnt care at the time, but now I think I want to go black rims and there is no way paint will hold up. Are the bajas strong enough to handle severe punishment?
  23. its cool, its just that I am running stock carbs and I had fuel draining out of both carbs when I left the gas on, when I first got it. Adjusted the floats and all is well now.
  24. does anyone know about the master cylinder and lever? Can those be bolted straight on to our existing lines?
  25. No they have three overflow tubes on each carb. Two smaller on the sides and one larger out the back where it will overflow if your floats get hung up.
