alright thanks guys, I will look into drilling later today. I dont have a press but I think a buddy does. Should be able to use it. thanks for your help Terry
-
Well I actually bought them used from someone. They are janssen a arms but dont know what balljoints are on them. I guess I could email them and see what they say. It seems weird and I even thought twice about it when I first put them on, but figured that was how they are supposed to be.
-
Thats what I was thinking, but there isnt one. Do you think I could drill my own hole? I just dont want to screw up completely. What about safety wire? Dont racers safety wire nuts and bolts too?
-
ok, so I just went out and rode for maybe and hour and as I am coming home I look down and the right side nut that holds my balljoint in my top arm was GONE! I was like OH SHIT! Cause nothing was holding the balljoint in except that I was going straight. ok so, they are janssen arms with whatever kind of balljoint comes with them. Its crazy though, cause I check them almost every week, probably every couple for sure. Whats wierd is they dont have any kind of hole for a cotter pin or anything on the end of the shaft, so the nut is just on there. What can I do to make sure they dont come off again! Of course I use red lock-tite on them but is there anything else that can be done? Im going to go and get all new nuts to put on, what do you guys think I should torque them too? thanks guys!

Dude someone is selling a hush kit over on E2S.com http://forums.everything2stroke.com/sale/2...it-sparkys.html seems like a steal.

yeah I started out with the banshee bend renthals and they had WAY to much sweep for me. Im 6'4 so they were almost high enough but I still hated them. I now have some TAG MX bend, I think they are the CR high bends and they are freaking awesome. I did buy some 2" rox risers off of ebay for really cheap to use with them. I am 98% satisfied with them, I think I can go another inch higher and it would be perfect. I love the straight across feel of the bars instead of the sweep back. So depending on your size you will just need to decide to go higher or not.

Like the engine is popping or you its coming from something else mechanical? (like the chain)

Well from reading on here and talking to the guy at rmstator he swears he is not sealing RS stuff. lets hope so since I have one in the mail right now! Ill let you know how it goes, but I havent head anything bad about their stuff.

I have been running the original razr's in the rear for a few seasons now and they are bullet proof. The 6ply stand up to anything. I just ride very rocky trails and they are just now showing signs of wear. I will be getting them again when I get new ones.

Man, I think that is some really cool shit. I personally wouldnt have the triangle design on my bike but others sure will. and the LED idea is genius. I really think you have something now. IF you made a couple other more normal grab bar designs with the led's integrated I think you would have a huge seller. just my opinion though. The quality looks top notch...awesome.

Hey guys, I am still trying to pinpoint my hesitation problem so I am looking for a stator and a coil. What I would LOVE is to borrow someones or rent it or whatever to see if it even is that. I unfortunately dont have any banshees around me to do this with. If no one wants to trust me with it then I am also looking to buy both. Thanks guys Terry

yeah wicked does. He never has them on ebay but he said to email him or call and they would make them for you. Thats what I was going to do.

Just wanted to get the word out. I bought my topend kit from him at an awesome price and was shipped same day!! Got here today and I couldnt be happier. Thanks again!

Thanks guys, Ill just take it off and scrub it. I thought I remembered someone using kerosene but didnt want to get it mixed up with something else. If its crazy dirty I will soak it. Terry

ok guys, I have been searching through this place for 45 minutes and havent found ANYTHING!! anyway, I have a fairly new chain, has maybe 10 hours on it. While the bike is down I figured I would pull it off, clean and re oil it. What is a good way to clean it? It is an o-ring chain. I just dont want to damage the o-rings. What can I use? or is the cleaning even necessary? thanks Terry

Where can I get just s shifter seal? Is this gonna be a dealer thing? Thanks

>FMF Gold Series Pipes/powercore silencers >noss head 20cc domes >Ported stock reed cages w/TDR reeds >T.M. Designworks case saver >Barnet Dirt Digger Clutch >13 tooth front sprocket elevation is around 1200 ft. I know that I must have went lean for a short time, but I really dont think my jetting is off. I have been very vigilant about checking the plugs and watching the weather. I have it running perfect at around 20* outside so when its higher it runs pretty rich. It was about 65 the other day it happened. I do know there was a head leak but man the mid throttle thing is what gets me. I have gone to every spot on the needle to see if it was lean or rich, right now I have it pretty rich. And doing the choke trick, made it want to die almost, I know its not lean. The more I think about it though, I do remember a few weeks back one of my friends was riding it and there was 2 backfires out of the left side and some white smoke. I told him to shut it off, and I checked the plug. It seemed to be ok, and then it never did it again. I think it might have had a small clog that made it go lean for a short time. but still doesn explain the mid throttle crap.

Ok, guys. Yesterday I started this thread over on E2S but I would like as much feedback as I can get. here is the link if you want to read through that. It has pictures too. http://forums.everything2stroke.com/banshe...nto-piston.html ok so, I have been having some wierd mid throttle missing. It doesnt pop or backfire its just a straight up gurgle, like the plugs fouled. I cant figure out if its electrical or if its something else. It goes away at WOT and after it sits for awhile, and sometimes it doesnt do it at all. So I thought maybe water was getting in there or stator is dying. Anyway, I pulled the head yesterday to check it out cause I had to ride on it awhile like that. Well I had a thumb size dent in the top of the piston where it was starting to melt and also some chips on the front side of the pistons. I have the noss head and I think I had a small leak, but I also know the dent is from running really hot and lean. So I think the two are unrelated. The dent could have been from awhile ago, like a jet got clogged for a short time or something. So I guess my main question is about the mid throttle missing, I really got to figure it out. I dont want to rebuild just to have the same problem again. Do you think the chips could have had an impact on the compression and made it run like that? Or is it more likely something else? thanks guys I really got to figure this out. sorry for the book!

Yeah make sure the carbs are all dry. I stood mine up and some ran out the carbs and through my K&N. So I have goopy red oil and gas in the airbox, then I had to clean and re-oil the filter. Would have saved some time to just run it out of gas!

Any SS brake lines sitting around?
-
I have been using MC-1 at 50:1 for over 6 years now. Not problems, and mine is strictly trail riding.
-
Yeah I would go with the GB plate if you have a stock CDI, but you could always drill new holes for an aftermarket. I love mine, it is super clean. Cant see any of it when everything is installed. Much cleaner looking then any of the homemade stuff I have seen.
-
Where all do you apply it? Just on the exposed copper wire? Or just smear the sucker down? thanks
-
Does anyone have any tips on doing this? I am having a constant problem with water getting up in my stator case. I have RTV'd all along the edge of the case and around the bolt holes trying to keep out as much as possible but I cant seem to stop it. I dont do any deep water crossing or anything, just normal puddles and shallow creeks that I snail across to not get any water up on the engine or anywhere near the air filter. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesnt. I gotta figure something out! thanks Terry

Ok so is there a difference between the two shocks that I posted? They are seperate auctions by the same company. The only difference I could see was one actually states that they are the E36's and the other doesnt, but the other says they are ZPS style. Are they the same shock? Thanks
