  1. My buddy just got a 03 660 its bone stock but we are putting a full exhaust on it soon, does anyone know what I should do for jetting? Thanks
  2. ok give me a day or two to box them up and get them wieghed. Ill let you know
  3. Ricky Stator STOCK LENGTH tie rods. These things are bullet proof, dont need them cause I have longer arms now. They have some marks where I had to use channel locks to get a rusty end off, but the threads are all fine and will work perfectly. They have a goldish color to them, not sure if it really shows up in the picture. 50 bucks shipped Stock 96 shocks. They have been well used, I wouldnt say they are very good. I have beat the shit out of them for years. But if anyone wants them they can have them for the cost of shipping. Stock upper arms, balljoints seem fine but I dont know how to tell 100%. Perfectly straight. 50 bucks shipped takes them. And I have one lower arm that is straight with a good balljoint. 40 bucks shipped. Stock voltage regulator that I bought thinking mine was shot but it wasnt the problem. 25 bucks shipped Stock light and kill switch, worked fine when I pulled it off. 20 bucks shipped Polished rear brake resevour cap. No major scrapes or anything, just the normal scuffing from being wiped off when dirty. I dont know what that green stuff is in the picture, its no on the actual cap. This thing will polish up really well. 35 bucks shipped Money talks, my paypal is TZumalt at gmail.com with no spaces thanks guys
  4. Ok Cleaning out the garage. All prices are flexible but pretty firm. Just need this stuff gone. Bought this to replace my yellow but doesn match the 96 red. Not sure what red it is but very dark red compaired to my 96. Great shape has no gashes or scrapes, just normal wear. 30 bucks shipped FMF Gold Series Pipes. They were on the bike when I bought them. They are in awesome shape just had then come loose once and bang on the head so I had to get that welded up. They dont leak and you cant see the weld cause its on the inside of the pipe. No major rust just some spots around the springclips. These are really good looking still and one nice polish job and they will look brand new. 125 shipped takes them.
  5. Hey guys, The last time I went riding I noticed that if I pull straight up on my bars they will move about an 1/8th of an inch. They make a kinda of knocking sound. I figure it just the bearing worn out but Im not sure what to buy or if the bearing kits are exactly what I need. It only gets rebuilt down on the very bottom right? The collor just lets it slide through?? thanks
  6. I cant anwser all your question, but I know when I did my tors removal if I screwed the caps all the way down really tight the throttle would stick everytime. So now I just do it finger tight and then use the locking tabs to keep them in place. Works perfect. also, it took me awhile to get all the slack in the cable adjusted correctly. You have to have just the right amount of turns in the idle screw as well as have the cable inlet screws the exact same. It will eventually idle nice you just have to have everything in balance.
  7. I changed out the topend on my 96 in february. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! It has never been opened up. I had a small headgasket leak and I think I had a jet clog cause my left side went lean for a short time and started to burn a hole in the piston but didnt. I have Wiseco's in now. Anyway, I was really impressed with the stock stuff.
  8. I dont run those carbs but I know of some carb tops if they are screwed down to tight it makes them stick. Like on the stock carbs with the TORS removed you have to leave them finger tight and use the locking tabs to hold them in place.
  9. hmm, that is tough I loved the way yours looked before. I cant decide if the candy red would be too much or not. Black always works, but like with mine Im wondering if a dark grey might look pretty sweet too. Or like that black chrome color.
  10. Yeah thats how I feel right now. I need to take care of other things. I also dont really like how the graphics on them look and I dont really care for carbon fiber stuff. Im just worried about dinging up my new shocks. how long until your's is back together?
  11. I have seen them on race bikes but never on a banshee. I think they are a good alternative to shockwears. I have never really like shockwears but i need something to help keep my elkas from getting beat up when the rocks are flying. thanks
  12. I run 13/41 for trails. I love it. I use the primary drive kits from Rockymountain. Everyone recommends steel sprockets too.
  13. As the title says I am looking to see if anyone uses one while they are at the dunes for night riding. I have all of my wiring cleaned up and nothing is running to the back anymore and Im not about to do it just for one night. I was thinking of some leds that they make for bikes that clip on the seat posts. Not sure if they would be bright enough though. what do you guys suggest? thanks
  14. Any blaster shifter will be about 2 inches shorter than the stock shifter. The brake pedal I dont know. I have blaster pegs on mine but I have a size 14 shoe so I left the stock stuff and it works perfect for me.
  15. Cool thanks! I figured the would have to have some good gas available somewhere but you never can tell.
  16. Also, does anyone know if I can get 93 octane out there? I know its getting scarce these days.
  17. uuuuuuuuh what if you dont live in the desert?
  18. Ha yeah I would say they would have worked, except the guy giving you the advice bought them instead of you! Not trying to start nothing just thought it was funny.
  19. alright cool, Ive never been out there really so I guess if you see my bike flag me down!
  20. I dont have the full engine kit, but I have the Hi-revs and I absolutely love them! Best purchase I have made yet for this thing. Porting will be next.
  21. I will be making a trip out to LS on that weekend. I was just wondering if anyone else was thinking of going out there. This is my first trip out there and was hoping to meet some more banshee people, all my friends ride dirtbikes. Terry
  22. I had my plastic and seat off today and I looked straight down and through the frame at the rear shock and suspension. The left side bolt of the dogbone is pretty close to the skidplate, so if there is any kind of tweaking or if you dont have the skid on right I could see it scraping there.
  23. Yeah man, I have the prm and it doesnt have anything problems at all. Can you see under there if it is touching? mine doesnt touch, and Im pretty sure there is like 1/4" of space between it and the dogbone.
  24. speaking of moose, has anyone ran their footpegs? I dont know how new they are but they do make them for the banshee. http://www.mooseracing.com/catalog.jsp?lev...t_group_id=5628 kinda pricy though
  25. you should get the truck rack. someone could probably build it. http://www.discountramps.com/atv-truck-rack.htm
