  1. THIS SUCKS!!! I have never bought anything from over there but I just found exactly what I am looking for in the classifieds!!!! But there is no way that I will pay 25 bucks just to PM a guy to see if he still has something. IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS AN ACCOUNT OVER THERE THAT IS WILLING TO CONTACT HIM FOR ME?????? PLEASE!!!!!! Just pm, if you are so kind. thanks
  2. What diameter is the 75 rollout? I dont really know what that means.
  3. Yeah dude that sounds awesome. I would love to see how that turns out and how well it takes abuse. I want to PC my frame but I was thinking the same thing as you, just get something tough as hell on there cause its gonna get screwed up anyway.
  4. Sounds alot like how my stator acted up when it was dieing. It would cut out or die when it got really hot from riding, so it would obviously do it and different times depending on how or where I was riding. And the lowere RPMs would be fine. I would start there and also your coil and plug caps.
  5. Thanks man that is the kind of input I needed! Even though I am still completely torn. I really just want to have as much fun as I can out there, I am used to trail riding and just hauling ass as fast as I can where ever I am. I really dont see me drag racing at all. With my mods I will get smoked by most anything. I guess I could use the V's as an excuse. LOL I guess the most liked V's are the ITP's and the Skat traks. I hear nothing but bad about cheaper brand V paddles. I still have some time so I will keep researching it, but I appreciate the input!!
  6. Yeah there is ways to test it using a voltmeter and all that stuff, but I didnt have one to test it with. My symptoms were after riding for about 20 minutes I would get hesitation and missing in the midrange no matter how I was riding. So I changed every bit of jetting, even got a topend job (needed it anyway), replace coil and finally just bought a new stator and it took care of it. It was only when the stator got hot that it would act up.
  7. I just got the normal one her sells, its 100 watts. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...690384&rd=1 that was the auction. It is working awesome so far!
  8. Check all your electrical as well. Mine did that from a bad spark plug cap. Just a weird thing that always happens when you are trying to get something else to work. Also, stator could be getting weak.
  9. Anyone one use the AMS Sand Snakes for a budget tire? Im sure they are not haulers but for the price would it be a good start?
  10. Yeah I saw the sand hauler in there actual catalog but not online. I was wondering what that was about. I doubt I will have the coin to drop on real haulers so it will be sand haulers or some sand snakes. Just something to get me by. thanks
  11. Yeah I know where roaring river is, used to fish there every once in awhile when I was younger, never rode out there though. I actually live in some of the mark twain forest. It is so big. Im sure there is a ton of places to go and ride, but I have just recently moved back down here and dont have to many people that ride. So making trips always sucks cause its just me and one other person or something. Plus I have enough private property to ride on around me that I can ride for days really close to the house. But Im hoping to make in out to LS pretty soon and have a blast. Terry
  12. Awesome thanks! I have some aluminum 9" rims I was gonna use to put them on. So most likely I will just try and find some cheaper 20" 8 blades.
  13. Yeah Im sure it is. That pretty much all I ride. Just rocky ass trails. I live right off table rock lake, and we are in the hills down here. No such thing as dirt. My shee handles it pretty good I think. I do need some hiper's though, Im tired of buying rims every year! ha So yeah I guess back on topic, would it be wise to just go ahead and get straight paddles even though I am just messing around?
  14. well, I mainly ride on trails that are just near my house. Mainly private property stuff. I dont go to many tracks. I do have some friends that have recently moved back into the area that have dirt bikes so hopefully I will start tagging along with them to any tracks or places they might go. I havent even been up to Chadwick. Let me know though if there is anything cool going on in the area, I just moved back down here myself so I dont know any of the good places. thanks for the help
  15. Hey guys, ok I am planning on taking my first trip out to Little Sahara in OK in the next month or so. I have never been to the dunes so Im not 100% sure what to expect. First off I have to pick out some tires. My bike is setup for trails and MXing more than anything. I dont really plan on dragging but just want to play around and hill climb and jump. Should I still go with straight paddles? I keep getting mixed answers about how V paddles suck no matter what. Also, I have a 13tooth front sprocket to help with the trails, would it be better to go back up one for the dunes? Will I need the extra RPM's in the top gears? thanks guys trying to figure all of this out. heres my mods 96 Banshee >FMF Gold Series Pipes/powercore silencers >noss head 20cc domes >RM stator w/+4 timing >Ported stock reed cages w/TDR reeds >T.M. Designworks case saver >Barnet Dirt Digger Clutch >13 tooth front sprocket >TAG CR high bend bars black >ROX 2" risers >ASV clutch and brake levers >ITP rims w/ front bandits and rear razrs >Janssen +2 +1 arms >ELKA rec fronts >TCS rear shock revalve Terry
  16. yeah I have the razr 6plys and I will be running them again when the time comes. They are super tough.
  17. theres one on the noss cool head page. I dont know the address but he has a banner on here somewhere.
  18. I just installed a new stator and timing plate from him and it cured all of my problems. I only had it for about a week but everything is running strong so far. It was a good price too. Not really anywhere else to go with, so take a risk here or with RS. Terry
  19. ok got it all done!!! It wasnt that bad really. I just had to redo all the setting of the front end to have enough room to drill. Got cotterpins in all the balljoint shafts. Had to cut about a 1/4" off each tie rod end but everything worked out perfect. Got it all back together and I will give it a few runs today. Still might have to do some adjustments on the toe in and out. thanks everyone for your help! Terry
  20. ok, so I need to cut down my tie rods in order to screw my ball joints in all the way. I need them in all the way cause I need to drill them to secure them with a cotter pin. I have another thread going call ball joint safety... So what is the best way to do this? I remember a lot of talk about this on the wicked thread but it wasnt that specific. What can I use to cut it? Do I need to add any more threading? I would say a 1/4" should do it? I cant figure out any other way to do this. Thanks
  21. ok thanks guys, Yeah they had the nylon locking nuts on it, but it still came loose somehow. I have all new nuts and I think I will just do a small hole for some safety wire. Shouldn't be that big of a deal. I will probably get new ballpoints next year anyway. Thanks for the help everyone!! oh and the dude told me the were janssens, but the older versions. They are beefy as hell though, they also are in the color that janssen uses the most.
  22. I use pro design domes. If it says it will fit the pro design cool head it will fit the noss.
  23. So do you think I could do the same for this? Just drill a small hole and wire them on? I am still gonna see if I can find some castle nuts, but even then I have to make a pretty big hole to put a large cotter pin hole, probably like 1/8". So maybe a smaller hole with some SS wire would be better?
  24. ok this is an older picture from the bike they were on before, but you can see how the balljoints are attached. I guess its an older crappy designs cause it sucks. Where the shaft of the balljoint goes through the arm it is not threaded so the only thing holding it on is the big nut on the back side, which is what fell off, and you can see there is no room for a cotter pin on the end.
  25. ok, so here is the deal. The way they are setup right now, when everything is lined up properly and there is the right amount of camber and caster there really isnt enough room to put a cotter pin on the outside of the nut. I am using the nylon locking nuts, which is what was on it in the first place. So tomorrow I am going to go and see if I can find some castle nuts that size, but Im not sure if I will be able to. So if I cant, what do you guys think about getting everything tightened up where they are gonna go and then drilling through the nuts and just adding a cotter pin like that? I know they wont be able to be adjusted and I will have to make new ones if I ever take them off but that doesnt matter. I guess it will look kinda weird but at least I wont die from losing one again. Any other options? This sucks.
