  1. Nice i embarassed so many people at gosa. Mostly YFZ's LTR's and 660 raptors. Couldnt beat a cammed 700.
  2. I would bed 8571895685784712 dollars the you need an imput shaft and 5th gear. If they are run low on oil and/or revved high while not moving will cause 5th gear to lock up on it. It runs on just the shaft there is nothing under it like the runners on the rest of the shaft.

  4. I had a peice of sand get in the groove on the side of the slide, do that i thought cable till i cleaned the carbs
  5. What jets did you go with? and did you Sync the carbs. The tapping could be from runnig lean, Is is on the same cyl as the one that delays to start
  6. If i remember right 4th and 6th are one the output shaft, You probable bent a shift fork.
  7. There is a little metal clip that goes on the end that screws in under the rubber seal. I just am too lazy to buy a new clip i just hold it.
  8. But those are a lot farther apart and not as deep compared to say the ones out at Armagosa
  9. Scuff the paint with some fine sand paper then put the stripper on it, If that doesnt work just pour brake fluid on it, Iv never seen anything brake fluid couldnt ruin.
  10. Yeah Ive been told i have to lean out the top end, if i dont use the ram air. I have the air box, with KnN filter, I will likely get some filters that will fir the ram air ports, and put pre-filterson them. The reason i dont want to run the 520, what dajogejr said, AND i already have a brand new 530 chain and the bike has a 530 on it, Not to mention i dont have a sprocket on the shee, I am going cheaper, if i already got it, why buy it? What sprocket should i use on the back, Its got 16 teeth up front and i have 20 or 22 ( i dont remember at the time) dick cepek's for the paddles.
  11. Where can i get a rear sprocket that will fit a banshee hub, that is for a 530 chain? Im putting a ZX9R motor in and dont want the smaller chain. What would be a good rear size for running (I think) 22" paddles, and i believe its a 16tooth front sprocket, ill look when i get home.

  13. Hasn't someone reported this yet? I hate these people almost as much as the local craigslist scammers. You could buy it then get ur money back, but you probably wont ever get the bike.
  14. adjust the clutch cable first. Then if that doesnt do it, take the clutch cover off and adjust the clutch there. If you have a clymers, its in there, if you dont, get one. Or download the PDF.
  15. I havent really looked, but EVERY hub ive ever seen on ANYTHING the studs can be pressed out.

  17. I can guarantee that you will need 5th gear and an input shaft. They will be VERY stuck together, like i said what happened is it locked up so that the dog ears are jammed together. U might be able to have the gear pressed off and clean up the shaft, but thats unlikely. If you want parts before you tear it apart, thats what you need. 5th is a poor design, there is VERY little space for oil to get in unless its full.

  19. What gear is it stuck in? If it low or has no oil, 5th gear will lock up on the shaft, and the dog ears will get jammed together.
  20. It wont up shift in ANY gear at high revvs, im using valvoline 10w30. I didnt pull out the shift shaft, but checking it is next on my list, and i take my foot away from the shifter. it physically will not let me click into the next gear untill its about 1/4 throttle. i REALLY dont want to tear the motor apart again. when i bought it,it was fine except someone ran it w/o oil and locked up 5th, but i put in a new shaft and gear.
