  1. Well, I typed the title of this very post into the search ("What happened to the brotherhood") and here is what I got back. One or all of your search keywords were below 3 characters or you searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords. WTF? So now I look and see the real spelling of the title is "What happenec" Even still, the search didn't link me with the post even though it should reference the "Brotherhood" sentence. You say "Do a search"......I went on Banshee HQ and asked a question.... I thought that WAS me doing a search.
  2. I thought the Blaster cable was what they used.
  3. What's that your saying?........You think your coming down with a case of the flu? You think you caught it from you mother-in-law? Your joints are sore and your head feels like a basketball? You don't think your going to be able to make it in to work on Saturday? You just make reservations with the doctor for Saturday.....with the HP doctor. Take your medicine...the directions say to mix your medication at 40:1 with your favorite flavor petroleum based High Octane enery drink. Then a nice quiet car ride to relax your aching bones. By the time you get to the Badlands, you'll feel right as rain.
  4. You would get more power right away, for less money by switching to the Vito's Pro Stock pistons vs. getting the 28's. You really won't see a big difference with that carb switch till you closer to 50-55 HP. I'd stick with what you have for now. Look in the dyno section for a post called random dyno posts. There is a nice comparison of a few stock cylinder motors tested there, and it has the mods needed to cheaply get you to 63 HP. One of the LAST things they do is go to a 28mm carb. Hope that helps answer your question.
  5. I find the search feature here to be almost useless. Put in a topic and I either get tons of stuff that has nothing to do with what I was looking for, or the answer is try typing more info. It's like if you don't match the title of the post of wording of what you want perfectly you get nothing.
  6. Well we've got Pampered Chef stuff comming out our ears. (Don't get me wrong, the wife can cook.) So she's got the full kitchen version of a master machanics tool chest when it comes to kitchen tools. So your not talking me into any more of that... As for jewlery....the wedding rings more than enough for me.....when I do want to accessorize, I'll count on shiny polished aluminum. That'll be where you come in. So I'll tag you when I'm ready to take another pile of aluminum on a road trip.
  7. Ok Damian, time for you to change your signature picture. Dump the nice view of your camera seen in the reflection of your polishing talent, and now let's get a shot of you kicked back sleeping in your recliner with piles of cash stacked on your chest. Yes, Jeff will be my new go-to guy. Cause if your not from Michigan...your not polishing...your just shining it up a little. That's why I drove 2 states over to drop off my pile of aluminum. So Jeff....How the heck far away is your place from Damian? (Hope your not over in Flint)
  8. At best, you could say they were close to a T-5....They aren't any better than a T-5 I can tell you that. Other than them being stainless.....I think they are junk. I hated mine. I jumped from FMF to toomey to Trinity's to CPI's to Shearers. I'd rather have any of those other than the Trinity's.
  9. No,No....................you'll grow back, the bike won't.
  10. Scat-trac Mohawks on the front then Haulers or Extremes on the rear. We have PILES of molded V-tires sitting looking for buyers, (they end up as loaner tires for people who have never gone duning before) because we all started out doing the Sand star type thing and quickly figure out the V paddle is a heavy waste. I've even tried the Scat-trac "EDGE" V-style and still prefer the straight blade tires. Geckos are the WORST tire EVER. I'd sooner run a knobbie. But I guess if your fun of choice is just doing U-turns on the dunes and throwing roost, maybe a V-tire is a perfect fit. If your going with a single rib tire and don't like a Scat-trac fronts. I'd recommend the classic "Sand Tires Unlimited" single rib RAZOR BACK tire with a 7" wide rim.
  11. NOT TAKING WORK ??? !!! What, did you get all your speed parts for this year paid off early? What's the "business venture building residual income" ? You pimping yourself from home? Good grief, builders take 1/2 a year to build a motor or even answer a phone....now the TOP polishers are turning down work? Guess I'm just going to have to buy a nice stock 4-stroke and leave it covered in mud. Maybe I'll have to get some of that Kylon chrome paint in a can. Do you think hairspray and glitter will stick to a motor for a season?
  12. Regardless.....price is HIGH. If the paint comes off easy.....clean it off. Clean off the finger prints. Take new pictures. Then check the "Completed listings" on Ebay and see what SB CPI pipes have actually sold for. (Not everyone's asking price, but completed sales.) Those prices will give you a ballpark. I'll trade you for a set of Pro Circits, with no paint and no finger prints.............
  13. Where you at? One just jumped thru 3 different owners in 5 weeks here near chicago. (First Craig's list, then Ebay, then back to Craig's list.) It's sleeved and is running a 69mm piston. Any chance we're talking about the same bike? White and Red? This ones older though, with a J-arm...
  14. It's a trick question.... A PROPERLY running banshee can beat EVERYTHING! (except a better running Banshee) If your Banshee can't beat a 250R (no matter what the 250R guy has done to it) Then your banshe isn't built or runing PROPERLY. Long story short....if your getting beat by anything...it's time to throw money, parts and time at your machine. This isn't Honda Headquarters man....we gotta keep our reputation. Otherwise the noise from the Zilla and R crowd gets too loud.
  15. Ditch the fenders. Our last Badlands ride, the guys with fenders were just as wet and muddy as the ones with race cuts. Heavy muddy fenders just slow you down with more weight. For all the kids who claim their bikes do 110+ MPH... Those dumbo ears just catch more wind.
  16. And if prices were back down, you'd still have spent $75. Don't let the thought of an extra $20- 25 in gas hold you back. Let's see some awesome turnout. We'll have that place sounding like a bee hive!
  17. May - 3rd weekend - 20-21-22 (We'll be staying at the Sierra Sands Hotel) June - 2nd weekend - 10-11-12 (Camping at the Silverlake Resort and Campground) July - 3rd weekend - 15-16-17 (Camping at Silverlake Resort and Campground) August - 3rd weekend - 19-20-21 (Camping at Silverlake Resort and Campground) September - 4th weekend - 23-24-25 (Staying at the Sierra Sands Hotel) I'm also looking for any MI riders who want to team up for a trip to "Bull Gap" I've never been there and would like to find a friend to give me the tour. (I'm thinking late April or any weekend in between our planned SL trips.) For anyone interested in heading southwest....I'd also like to find a ride buddy for a trip to St.Joe. If you've never been to SilverLake before and want someone to help make your trip go smooth, Your more than welcome to join our group on any date that works for you and we'll walk you through the whole routine. PM me with your thoughts.... Anyone have any thoughts about our dates feel free to chime in. (Damian, I'm hoping you'll find time to break free for a few of these trips with your crew...) BUMP Everybody looking forward to getting some sand in their shorts?
  18. Don't think it ends there.......once you fix that you'll find the 3-4 other things that will destroy those expensive pistons in a heartbeat. Your domes are still junk. Everybody's 4 mill Trinity motor has junk domes. 485cc's of IED ....I own one too.
  19. What did you end up buying?
  20. Familiar story. Here read this. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=131445 Read it all. your answers and the people you want to chat with about this are all in there. Sorry to say...been there, done that. Trinity
  21. My 472 Cheetah is fully drag ported and made 81HP with the CPI Big Bore In-Frames. Switched to Shearer Small Bore In-Frames and it jumped to 95HP. Also the low end power matched the CPI's low end. So I'd say get the SB Shearers.
  22. I'm coming with at least 2 others.
  23. Have you gone to the Syracuse Dunes?
  24. Stock stroke seval.
  25. Yes Trinity was nice enough to reprogram my Dyna FS CDI with thier curves.....That way I can DETONATE on almost ALL the settings regardless of jetting.
