  1. If you own Trinity domes, weather they are in your motor or in your hand.....they work well as coasters, christmas ornaments, and ear rings. You don't want to trade those to anyone.......you don't need any enemies. Just put them in the "I should have known better pile" and move on. Put the head shell in that same pile, call NOSS or a site builder and get your motor figured out right.
  2. I hit the Badlands too! Plus we go to Silverlake dunes 5 times a year. We also hit Fox Valley off road.
  3. There you go Nick. Just what you have been looking for! You got an invite to join to cool crowd and ride at legal ride spots. How sweet! Game on!
  4. 19 members have 4-10 mill cubs? I was kinda thinking I'd get more response from this post........... I thought this post would fill up with a few pages of people listing what they had. Guess your all trying to be stealth. Bump to get it going again. Let me know your out there people. I'm going to need to have more than 20 people to bring new products to market.
  5. It took me a minuet......then I finally noticed that they mounted the radiator cover directly to the front nose piece, then mounted the tank surround UNDER the nose piece. Kinda looks like cut LT-500 plastics when done that way.
  6. Get some 35PWK's and a set of Shearer small bores while your at it.
  7. Good point there. I'm a fan of the SS pistons for basic power gains on a budget. But I don't think they make them for the long rod motor. With the long rod motor you run a blaster piston that has a different pin height. I'm pretty sure you would have to run a spacer plate with your combo........
  8. Well put. Yes Mattoon billet cases would be absolute overkill for what he needs...but hey, if he wants to drop serious coin on a part like that....feel free. Somebody has to keep the economy going. But I agree, for what you will spend on the billet cases, you could get new cases (that you don't need because 1/2 the banshees out there have that same classic "chain Whack' and are still running) and you still would have enough money left over to buy a nice round carrier swing arm that is stronger and lighter than the factory one, a bearing carrier and still have about $1000 to spend on anything your heart desires....like a 4-10 mill crank.
  9. The cc of the domes is more than just pick a cc and go. You port timings can effect the motors compression. You may have ran 20 before, but if you were too close to the edge with your running compression or corrected cc's you might have had the crank failure due to mild detonation over time trashing the crank. The bigger concern is why won't Jim call you back.
  10. What do you call a dead blonde in a broom closet? The 2002 Hide and go seek Champion.
  11. If your keeping the stock head and crank, I figure budget is the prime factor. With that in mind, your best bang for the buck is to put a set of Vito's "super stock" pistons in the motor with a set of FMF fatty pipes. You can see an example of what that can do if you look in the dyno section under "Random dyno runs" (it's bumped to the top for ya) I know those dyno runs have some things you don't, but it shows you what you can grow into as you get more money down the road. It gives you a cheap easy map to power. We've used it on a few bikes and done dyno testing to confirm. Hope that helps.
  12. Nobody saw a need for a Serval.....why is there a Serval? It filled a hole. What does "finished figured out mean?" I'm not touching the CUB casting. It's great. And good builders know how to make it even better with porting. (I'm not offering porting.) But once I get my ducks all in a row, I think I'll have something that every cub owner will want to try. The question for now is....just how many of you are there?
  13. No, I've got a company I'm working with on developing some products that will be geared toward the 4 mill cubs (Mostly the basic ones with no port timing changes) But I'm looking into the possibility of serving the 10 mills and Servals. I'm looking to see what kind of numbers of people who own that style motor I can reach on this site. So I thought I'd see what everyone is running. I've got an idea for a package of products that I am developing that would help everyone from builders to owners. As things come together, I'll start throwing out more details. But everything will be dyno tested to show before and after results. No seat of the pants hype. As many of you who know me and have read some of my posts know, I've had a pretty bad experience dealing with a very large vendor in this sport. Thanks to that, I've spent ALOT of time talking and getting to know many of the real top builders out there. The rule of thumb for business is "Find a need you have that is not being filled and fill it." Well, I see a hole in the market and I have an idea that I think I can make work. I don't want to cut into the market of any builders or any current suppliers. I just want to compliment the existing industry.
  14. Oh Crap. I was trying to set it up as a poll and botched it. LOl. OK TYLER...Take it down. I'll have to try again.
  15. 1 - 4 mill CUB with "Out of the box or Clean-up" porting only. 2 - 4 mill CUB with "Dune" porting 3 - 4 mill CUB with "Drag" porting 4 - 10 mill CUB with "Out of the box or clean up" porting only 5 - 10 mill CUB with "Dune" porting 6 - 10 mill CUB with "Drag" porting 7 - 4 mill SERVAL CUB 8 - 10 mill SERVAL CUB
  16. Why not buy them and hang them on your wall if you like how they LOOK so much? Pipes are not meant to look or sound good. They are meant to WORK good. ESR makes decent pipes for the single cylinder Hondas. (That's where Eddie Sanders made his name in this sport.) But there is a reason people stick with pipes you know.....they WORK. Also, Why do people say stuff like "They look kinda like Vito's or Shearers or Whatever"...... T-5's and FMF and Pro Circuits and CPI's and Shearers all have a design of their own, and the only thing they have in common with each other....is they are all chrome and have silencers! People buy DG pipes and tell others they like them. But they are JUNK. You buy these ESR pipes and put them on and you'll like them too. You'll tell everybody you love them and you'll hope you found something no one else knew about. What you won't know is what your missing by not getting a different pipe. I listened for years to people tell me how their pipe rocks, but once we got a dyno and started testing stuff, I was quite surprised to see what common beliefs were just not true. I'm not telling you NOT to buy ESR. (I've never tested those) But I AM suggesting that you do some research into what you motor would LIKE for a pipe. Every motor is built with it's own list of parts and it's own builders idea of the way to make power. You should also ask yourself what mods you might do in the future so you don't outgrow a pipe. (Pipe size isn't about motor size.)
  17. If your on alky you should run a pump and pumper carbs. Especially if your going to run a hill.
  18. I would guess that it because the gases have to make a 90 degree turn to go out the space in the dishes and that kills the power. Anything more than a 20-30 degree turn is bad. They work on cars, but I don't think I'd use one on a 2-stroke.
  19. FMF Fatty's! Look in the dyno section at the post titled "random dyno chart and discussion" I bumped it to the top for you. LOTS of good into in the dyno chart. Everybody likes what they have and will tell you to run what they do....But get the FMF's and they will be perfect till you hit 70HP. They proved well on our dyno as well as in the drags on the dunes. Same pipe rocks The Badlands.
  20. It says "Best of the best limited sale $7000" in the title....so I'm guessing $7000.
  21. Then figure out WHY your O-rings blew before you go and do it again.
  22. Why do you need big billet bowls?
  23. A TRULY BEAUTIFUL BIKE! With clear shop vac hoses running to it. Your not even cashing in on the chance to run green coolant. Why clear water? Those other hoses with the mud on them look really bad. They look just like the ones from Home Depot. (Before you get all bent and tell me they are rated for high temps and are expensive ......print it on your ride jersey, cause your going to have to tell EVERYBODY who sees it and thinks it's Getto.)
  24. Can I get a batch done that has this image - and this image - - mixed with the words "Trinity Blows" done in a tri-color Camo scheme? OH, we should add the words 100HP/100MPH to that too. LMFAO
