  1. not sure in that specific case, but i know on waverunners when you take the pump off, you need to block it, or the motor can get fucked up.
  2. i just put vf3s on this past weekend, and im running rich now. i was running 310s, 3rd clip 27.5 pilots. i have read in a few posts on here that VF reeds cause it to run richer.
  3. i just went thru this with stators. dont buy ricky stator, RM stator, or moose. they are all made in china crap that doesnt work. either stay oem, or i would try rick's stator, i would actually call them first and ask if they make them in house, but their stators look different than all the other ones people are selling.
  4. I got it running, thanks to marine, the carbs were flooded. Pismo was dope, I just got a little bored of the small dunes. I need vf3 reeds now!
  5. yea its getting gas, but not starting. im thinking its not getting enough because its so cold here, and at sea level. im going to put the 30 pilots in, should i go to 320 mains?
  6. i made a mistake about the pilots, i forgot i have 27.5s in. think thats it? i have 30s here with me.
  7. bikes were running great till now, starting like first or 2nd kick. i put new plugs in, both are sparking. i have no idea what it is, i thought my jetting was on point for here.
  8. im trying to find out why neither of my bikes will start, im here at pismo beach currently. both have t5s, cfm airboxes with unis, and +4 timing. i have 310 mains, 30 pilots and needles on the 3rd clip. we brought all of the premix from las vegas, could that be the problem? or is it jetting?

  10. i called them up, they didnt have anything to fit on my rims there, i ended up going with sandstars from Motorcycle service center las vegas. going back to dumont tonight, i cant wait to try them out.

  12. i fucked up when i ordered my paddles, i cheaped out and went with kenda dune runners, 22/11/9. my bikes cant push that big of a tire, as i found out in dumont today. i need something like a 20/11/9. i dont want to change sprockets, because i need to be able to use my dirt tires also. im gonna go with sandstars or some haulers, anyone know any good places to get atv parts out here in vegas?

  14. i wouldnt order from jokers, i ordered a modquad axle nut, never got it. no answer to emails or their phone either. i had to dispute the charge to get my money back.

  16. the heads are stock, so im at stock compression. cool so im all good to ride, now i just have to go buy 2 trailer tires, mine are fucked from the drive out.
  17. What is safe timing the for 91 octane, I don't want to have to find 100 octane in utah and cali, I would rather just turn it down and be safe.
  18. My motors are stock internally, both just have t5s, +4 timing, and cfm box with pods. So I need to buy the 100 octane?
  19. I just got out to vegas, and they only have 91 octane gas here. Wtf. Am I all good running +4 timing here, or do I need to turn it down?
  20. lol i was going to say and fmf sucks also. on the past 2 banshees i have flipped, both have had fmf pipes, neither fit as well as t5s, and the chrome doesnt hold up. from experience, i would never buy fmf pipes.
  21. flip the hose around, so the metal part is where the waterpump is. t5 intructions tell you to do this.

  24. i was going over the ski some more today, and i took the pump off, i see what you mean. its basically i solid design, with nothing to break. im just going to change the lines and check valves. the oil lines are kind of hard and discolored. full of oil tho, which is a good sign i guess. i see why ski parts cost much more than quad parts, everything is WAY better quality. i like how each little thing has its own little zip tie to hold it in place. i have to go to homedepot and get a big bag of the tiny zip ties. how complicated are the carbs to work on the raiders, compared to the banshees? i checked all of the other lines, fuel etc, they are all in great shape. any other problem areas i should check?
