I was doing some googling, and i kept seeing all these places advertising atv tours in the grand canyon. Since im going to be out in vegas soon, i wont be too far from the south side of the grand canyon. Anyone ever ride out there?

Since I went with the moose stator, and I am only using one of the lighting outputs, what do I do with the one I'm not using? Tape it off, or do I need to connect it anywhere?

well henderson elevation is like 1800ft, so i figure we will be buying gas around that elevation. i didnt even think about the gas being formulated for different elevations

Ya the first few nights were staying at the hard rock, then ill be in henderson at my boys house. Apex and dumont are definetly on the list, and I think the 2nd weekend in june we are gonna shoot to little sahara ut.

what about the temp and humidity differences? here its like 70-85, but much more humid, vegas i belive gets up to like 110

i would do it, but im leaving for a trip and need my quads ready asap. im a little concerned about fucking the stator up when i try and float the ground.

I am having a problem finding a local place to rewind my stock stator. I want to run 2 50w bulbs. Has anyone had ricky stator rewind a stock one? I don't want to have them do it if the quality will be crap, like the stators they sell. If there rewinds are good I don't mind having them do it. I guess my other option would be to run a moose ho stator, and just use only one of the lighting outputs. Which is my best choice?

i mean your basically going to junk those 2 chinese quads, there worth nothing to part out, and who knows about getting parts for them, plus the chinese quads have no resale value. so its basically a beat banshee for a g note. its ok, i wouldnt be running out to get that deal, i have gotten almost mint banshees for like 1400.

where i ride is like 200-1500ft, in vegas i belive its going to be like 2500 ft.

im starting to get my 2 bikes ready for my vegas trip, and i need to know what jets to slap in. both bikes are running t5s, +4 timing, and uni pods w/outerwears in a cfm airbox. right now im running 27.5 pilots, 310 mains, needles on the 3rd clip, and airscrews out 2.5. im running the longer toomey needles. it runs good, might be a tiny bit rich. so how should i set them up for vegas? i am going to be staying in henderson nv, not sure about the different places we will be riding in tho.

before i take my stator out, i want to make sure this will work. i want to get my stator rewound to 200w, and run 2 trailtechs with 50w bulbs. i want them to use the stock headlight switch for power. i know i will need a different voltage regulator, but will this melt my switch and/or stock wiring? am i better off running the 35w trailtechs, until i can do the dc conversion and run leds?

savage are you running them thru the stock wiring and switch? where can i get mine rewound, and how much is it?

i found something by just googling about a defective stator from moose, but i guess that happens with everything. i did read about some people melting wires with the HO stators. im more limited to the fact that i want to run everything off the factory switch, so the 75w bulbs are out for sure. do you think a stock stator can push the 2 50w bulbs, or should i just got with the 35w? i want as much light as possible for my vegas trip.

Could I run the 2 50watt bulbs off the stock stator? It sounds like the moose one is garbage, so I want to stay with the oem one.
