  1. You're right, much cleaner look and if you are in the sand 75% of the time, then forget it.
  2. I would say lean also! I dont know what the temperture is there, but if its cold you need to richen it up as it gets colder. Still don't know what you're running for filter, assume you are running box with no lid, then you would need to be atleast 290-300 mains. I would be running the needle between 3rd & 4th clip from blunt end. As for the pilot, mine always started up and ran fine with the 25s and sounds like you may be fine on the air screws, but not all motors are the same. Just to make sure, did you get the slides back in the right carbs? The cutouts of the slides go to the rear of the bike, yep it happens alot! If you have messed with the TORS, let us know.
  3. Mine were so tuff to get on, that I was dreding taking them back off! Also had to shim the right side out to clear the noss head, and stinger tubes into head pipes were pretty tight also all mounted. I would hate to be the one having to take them off and put em back on again, I was really missing my T5s at the time.
  4. Yea that worries me a little bit, been a long time since I have been on the road. The population has more than doubled around here in the last 17 years, thats how long its been with no bike.
  5. Now we know who's making all the $$.
  6. Ok heres the deal I have two sets of lights, 1 set completely together and the other set is missing lenses and are apart. The ones fully assembled do not have the guards on them but the others have brand new guards, just need to be swapped around. Im not sure if the bulbs are good or not. Even some xtra rubber mounts in there and some mean blood shot eyes covers. 80.00 shipped in the states. plus paypal fees Flat connectors Sorry one set of bearings and two sets of lights. I have a stock carrier also in good shape, would need painted if you're for looks! Comes with bearings in it, not sure how good they are, I have a brand new set in package still. If interested I can get pics and I will throw in my brand new chrome HQ decals like the ones on bike in sig. 75.00 shipped + paypal fees

  8. Not much for wheelies or the snakes, but I love the straight line flat out! Have not had a ticket since sometime in the 80's on my bike "knock on wood" hope I can keep it that way.lol Let me know what ya got Jugriggs, btw, how did ur fight go? Thanks Dallas, I plan on having some fun with it.

  11. Yea! Believe me, those were my 1st two choices but people know what they have, well most of them. I looked at a 2000 R1 looked killer but things didn't look quite rite with it. I have heard only good things about the reliability of the honda's, this will be the 1st one for me, always had Kaw and never a problem. Im hoping it will do me good. Thanks stclark18, Nobody likes getting rid of their banshee but sometimes you gotta do what you what you gotta do to keep things interesting. Besides for me thats the fun part, fixing them up! Your right, their a dime a dozen.
  12. Yep traded it for a 2001 929 RR and a 12" Dewalt miterbox and 800 MTX amp, think I got a pretty good deal. Looks like another project is ready to begin, done got plans to stretch it a bit, its already lowered to set level. Its the yellow & black paint scheme with a D&D slipon with black wheels, those will be polished soon hopefully. I'll get some pics up sometime soon.
  13. Congrats Brandon, going big time now!! lol Good Luck with it all.

  17. 49 in March, not getting bored with it, just not getting the chance to get out and ride it as much. Seems like none of my friends ride as much anymore, and im the oldest out of all of them. Just be nice to have something legal to just jump on and go. I would hate to have to part it!
  18. Thanks lilmeg, yeah I think I rode it one time this summer, besides firing it up every once in a while. I have been wanting some muscle for the street for some time now. I'll miss it for sure, as I did the last 3.
  19. Well im going to put it up for sale or trade, im just wanting a mustang or a camaro pretty bad and don't really want to finance one. Im in Indiana around the Indy area, the bike is clean and in excelent shape. JD Customs made this for my tail light, a nice touch for the laggers!! Completely stock when I got it lil over 2 years ago. The 1st pic is what it looks like now with the new pipes and lights, plus the new tripple rate works shocks and I do have billet front brake line clamps on it now that match the arms. 97 .black plastics with brand new inframe drag CPI's pipes, new vforce 3 reeds, new 30mm OKO carbs, new K&N pods, and blue outerwears, new Noss cool head 21cc domes, new +4 swinger, new wicked +2 up 1 arms with works tripple rate shocks with rezzy's, adjustable timing plate +4, ITP wheels with good tires, razors, new polished RDZ chain tensioner, new modified shift star, new modified shift shaft and easy spring, new chain, sprockets, case saver, carrier bearings, needle bearings, asv clutch lever, new clutch and all new housing, aluminum gas cap, polished rear resivor cap, e-brake block off with polished cap, stainless braided brake lines dual fronts & single rear, polished lazer star lights, custom tail light cover, tether/kill cord.
