thanks for your input everyone.. yeah there is 3 brothers and they all have 400 ex's and i cant wait to smoke them.

maybe your doing somthing wrong in your start up sequince. i know i have to get the feel for each of my machines. my mojave (4 stroke) its 2 -3 kicks with full choke.. and as i stated earlier today my shee is 1 kick all the time. try no choke or somthing like that or give it less gas when starting.

depends how you ride. someone could get 10 years.. some one could get 10 hours. my banshee is a 95 still on its first build. runs awesome tho. first kick everytime and has awesome compression. its how yamaha makes em :beer:

haha thats funny.. im 14 years old.. 6' 1" and 160 lbs.. yeah im tall but i dont feel cramped on my shee at all. ive ridden alot smaller machines without any problems. -

1 kick.. everytime.. even after a week of sitting. if you push two weeks you might need to choke it. then its two kicks but yeah 1 kick no choke everytime.

i get this... as long as my banshee isnt stock.. for the most part i will be able to beat him.

that puts a smile on my face.. thats what i told him. im like dude you cant run jet fuel in a piston engine its like running diesel in a gasoline car. Yeah im planning on a port job.. some toomeys. and filter and other basics.. hes full of it.

My friend has a 400 ex. He said he is having his "builder" build it into a machien taht runs jet fuel and it will beat my banshees ass with no problem.. he said he is running klotz gas.. does he know what hes talking about?

rev the piss out of it.. when i got my banshee i was like come on hurry up powerband kinda the same scenario but i was riding the throttle like a four stroke... rev it up thats what its made to do..

iff you have the money billet kickstarter or for racing they tie ruber bands around them and secure them to the frame you have to get it nice and tight tho.
