    I`m chopping my spare frame to make something different. i did a search and all i found was the pic below but the areas circled in red is what i`m now focused on. any advice? first hand tips? post some pics i need a good look at what needs to be done and what needs to be reinforced.

    i went threw a few sets of oem caps. the shee dont like them. once i purchased NGK plug caps i had no problems. they are screw in. i think i payed $6 or $8 for the two caps.

    stock jugs / 2 in 1 carb. let me know whats up. its not the cylinders you see but i do have stock bore cylinders w/ piston rings and the top of the carb. the pod and outerware is new along with the carb boot.

    AMSOIL 50:1 i can only speak for myself but the banshee dont like Belray or Klotz. amsoil was recommended and now it performs like i want it to.

    you dont need to mic it. seeing that you offered i`ll take your word on it. i`ll be back tomorrow night after work to see if you have it up.

    if thats the case i would have to say your screwed. the reeds come apart in 8 parts counting the pedals. that part holds your outer reeds in. i never seen that part for sale but if you call V-force you may have a chance. thats what i would do.

    is it the part that the red arrow points 2? it goes threw the length of the reeds holding them in place. the only way to replace the plastic piece that holds the reeds in place is to get a new set of reed pedals (they also replace that piece) or send me a PM with your address cuz i just got 2 new sets so i have that extra part.

    Yea, the Factory coil specs are crap for the coil. it never worked out for me but it does runs. welcome to the BHQ and this is a pic of my 87 shee. you just have to love the "87"

    I made my hide-a-key from my front fender plastic. looks good too. and if you mess up you have more chances to do it right. front fenders are good to have.

    Got the computer done so here is pics. the pistons are still on the shee but i`ll have them off in a few days. i will be trading or selling these stock bore cylinders / piston rings with a head and head gasket. if they dont go on here they will be on ebay.

    I found a set of T6`s chrome with silencers / carb kit and all for $400 new. i called toomey for specs on them and they told me you cant use them for moded bikes. coolhead, reeds, carb, port work. they said i will loose performance. i dont understand it but that came from Toomey. its a nice kit too. they also said buy T5.
