  3. The atv market in general sucks if your selling. I would hate to have spent 7 grand on a new one and a year later you cant get 3500 out of it. All sides of the economy are down (Housing, automotive) I would suggest get what you can out of it or hang on to it. Eventually the banshees will be a rare item with all the parting out going on.
  4. I had mine cut down. If you look at the outer edge their is a step down on the flywheel. I had it cut to that depth on both sides over to the magnet. It turned out great and looked just like the one in the photo.
  5. Just bought vf3 and when I pulled out the reed cage it had boyeson rad valve in it in great shape so Im looking to get rid of the boyeson. Im looking for either a 28mm or 30 carb setup. Or, a boss type intake with built in crossover for 28 or 30's. I'll consider what you have and will throw some cash for the right setup depending on whats available. Thanks
  6. I made some changes. Here is what I did and went from. Stock head to cool head with 19cc domes on 110 octane. Stock timing plate to +4. Boyesen rad valve to vf3 reeds. I also had the flywheel lightened. Those are my changes. The bike also has pro circuits and dual pods (no airbox) I have no idea what the jets are yet since I havent had this bike long. It starts easy idles good is real snappy when cold. When it warms up it loses some of the snappyness. I took it up the drive way after dark and when it came up on the pipe it didnt seem to pull. I will try again tom. when I can see where I'm going and check the plugs out. I'm thinking its gonna need a jet change though. I'm located in Indiana if anyone has a baseline on where I "should" be. Also, Its stock carbs no tors. No port work and I beleive its stock bore.

  8. Mikuni does make a flatslide. I ran them on alky on my sons Jr. Dragster motor. I would like to have a set of 28 flats.

  12. You guessed one problem. The nut was loose. Its firing now but wouldnt start again. I have a tiny bit of coolant leaking between the head and cylinder on one side so I guess I'll pull the head tonight.
