  3. i would think it was jetting. try running it with the air box lid off if its still on or look at your plug. i would think your to lean or not enough air to the carb. i would also gap between .25 and .28
  4. The colder the leaner it will run. take caution, you dont want to blow your ride up.
  5. yep, if them tires dont hook up it will slowly get slower. my tires are all but balled now and i noticed a big loss in power over the last few weeks.
  6. For the hills i shoot i have a +2 and the front stays down. i think +4 with them mods its pointless but i`m sure it looks better lol. for me it would be over kill.
  7. 07 is this year. stock bore now is 64mm. stock bore in 87 was 64mm. thats the math. :biggrin:
  8. I can`t see why you couldnt notice but with that +4 swinger your front end shouldnt come up. if you port your shee i think all your mods will contribute to a different ride. i noticed a difference with just the +4 timing. all i can think of is check your compression.
  9. i also did the propane method and no go but i didnt use the PB.
  10. i would just change the rings but thats me. if it looks very good then go for it. if you see ware marks bore it.

  12. In the long run the plate is better. its a couple more bucks but you dont have to worry about a sheared key and you can advance it more then 4deg if you want.
  13. I was wondering that also. 2 of the oem studs need to be replaced for a cub setup and we snapped one using vice grips. best of luck to you cuz i have no idea.
  14. its for the most part easy. if its done one cylinder at a time anyone can do it. with the head still bolted on you`ll have to try a little but its simple.
  15. I would have to say a bad ground or crossed wires. frayed wire maybe. i would look over the harness and see if something looks out of the ordinary then repost.
  16. yea, its safe. i would go +4 that a good start. i noticed the difference.
  17. I use my fingers. its really not that complicated.
  18. it could handle you but they are small. i`m 5`11 / 250 and i feel cramped but they pull for a little bike.
  19. it wont but i would drain all the gas out that you have in it before mixing a new batch.
  20. I dont think that would work for a trail bike.

  23. I used airplane stripper and i had no problems no rust but i did clean them good.
