  1. was ur crank welded and balanced? what could have happened it may have separeted if it wasnt and cause the right side to vibrate
  2. what brand are the bowls on the carbs, and also what are they drilled to? what where they setup for? are the clippards the modified ones or the standard ones?
  3. nop you need to deal with these pipes first hand when he does the nickle plate its just the bare metal that gets sent out and plated no polishing no anything thus leaving inperfections on the surface of the metal leading to pealing. the buffing of the metal before plating helps the nickle adhere to the surface better and with lower amounts of flaws. its up to you. i have black nickle plated toomey stingers and nothing has happened to them for two years.
  4. sandtoyz unlimited. its the same place he sends his regular production chrone the thing is now we are sending the pipes to get polished before they put the plating on so they are basically show chrome look without the price.
  5. well what you could do to avoid teardown is just take the topend off if you are going to bore and flush the crankcase with gas. well if you need parts call 1818-500-7263 sandtoyz unlimted every part imaginable for banshee instock
  6. hmm just take off the intake boots and inspect the intake before turning it on again. i had this happen to me but with a worse case i was running the twin filters so it was bare carb :s. it could be very dangerous tho because u cant really tell just by looking at the intake, i kept running my bike like that for somewhile like a year nothing happened but every case is differnt when i took the motor apart for its first time i looked at the crank and it had pits on it like like if u fire tiny rocks at aluminum same thing. lucklily my bike has been nothing short of awesome to me two years since that rebuild and im still on the same top end. also note i have literally ran the shit out of my bike. but safe thing to do is teardown. you could always cause damage to a pistorn which in turn leads to head and you know ive seen skirts distroyed and cranks disfigured beyond repair on stock motors not even ported big motors. so its risky
  7. just run 50/50 race gas and pump, i had the exact same setup you have before but i always ran full race gas no need tho, definately 50/50 on 32:1
  8. they are a night and day difference on the top end they produce, it just frees up the powerband on the higher end as compared to the cpi with are more of a mid-top pipe. call 1818-500-7263 we have them in stock, and have a new style order for us that we send it to get polished before the production chrome one you do that you cant tell the difference between those and triple chrome
  9. race gas - 927 alky - Klotz supertechniplate nothing else i run
  10. haha 573 is the series piston and 68 bore and people say the blaster is good for nothing i say HA! damnit haha
  11. if you are looking for a simple replacement go with the toomey setup alot of the racers here with a budget run that if they cant get the street bike setup
  12. 1818-500-7263 try that
  13. haha you'd better have something pretty crazy or get ready to repaint ur front end hahah. no adjustment needed for the reeds all they do is control the flow better and atomize the mixture better like when you have water in your mouth and spray it the tighter it is the more finer the spray same principal. but the v force clear up the midrange as compared to the stock so its a win win you cant really go wrong
  14. no im not talking about bought out racer im talking racer ... us the people who race for passion not money
  15. trade secret almost every racer uses regina non oring rx3's and gpxv's
  16. well its a precaucion not obligatory i ran my 350 with 35's on alky with stock bowls ran fine no problem with it unloading completely wanting to you know rev upp since it was getting a leaner mixture. anything other than cubs i think you shouldbe fine with small motors. its about 95 bucks more or less
  17. hmm if you are in the sand you must be running small tires in the back like 20x10x10 because even tho its ported, unless you are fully decked out drag 350 a 16 is i think way to big for any tires like 21 haulers or 22 haulers usually a fair combo for 21 is 14/43 or 22 14/45 for a 350 IMO
  18. no need just run same amount its only a small area that increases minimal at most run in between 1-5/8 to 1-3/4 no need to overdo it, if you have a cast lockup from direct drive with the six bolt side cover, after it settles it should be on the second bolt up on the left (the oil level)
  19. stick with stock needle if i remember correctly the toomey has a fatter taper so it doesnt matter if you are running a bigger main you could still be running the bike lean because of the needle. call 1818-500-7263 for good deals on anything banshee guaranteed. check out my bike on the exact setup i told you the only difference is that i bored out the carbs to 28 and since im running dual k&n's my main jet is bigger. but the rest of the setup exactly the same. ooo and this is dumont so its more or less the elevation you talked about.
  20. try 290 on the main go 27.5 on the pilot and 1-1/4 - 1-3/4 in the airscrew see if that helps oooo go back to the stock needle, place it on the 4th from the top try this out and see what happens
  21. nooo noo no definately 39's you will run them dry if you dont set them up right for the hill, and as far as not having bottom end on the 39? haha ive taken out a 20mil trex (yes i know its not all that great but still) on alky and override with a 4 mil cub stock tranny. and yes the t rex was running good not shitty. stick with the 39's you cant go wrong
  22. well its not exactly that its the weakest its just that the transmission was never intended to you know one day handle this kind of power its a 20 year old design with people putting 3 to 5 times as much power on it you know xD
  23. thats what im running on my bike it all depends on the porting or what kind of work you bike has, even tho you might have an agressive porting it might be setup as a high revver and not as torquie as some different ones to pick up the extra slack the lower teeth would be. its good if you are running like 21' haulers and your bike bogs if you take off on 2nd. mine did that even tho with the porting i have, it just doesnt have the torque but up top you'd better have something in the 4 mill size jeje
  24. hmm simple if it is blowing smoke out of the right side and it is white smoke bad oil seal teardown time. other than that i might be head gasket passing water i doubt it tho. if it is the right side cylinders its the crank seal letting in tranny oil
  25. haha tony just had to get the setup huh lol... jocker haha
