  1. try 340's with some 27.5 pilots, should still be fine at that altitude. similar setup that u have is on my bike as of like 6-7 months always ran perfect.
  2. check carb, clean it out if needed, if not check the stator gap between the magnet and the stator should b .22 see if that helps, we had that a couple of weeks ago on a bike check the airscrew too maybe 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turns out from completely being in
  3. i was just wondering if anyone had a clean no dinged up set of tips from a set of exhaust tips from some toomey t5 they are willing to sell email hexstylee3@sbcglobal.net or PM thanks
  4. yea man you need to drop them down, 400 is way out there. maybe 340. my stock bike with pipes and coolhead was running that and it was doing fine. do a plug burn, ride the bike on high gear and then kill it, then check your plugs. because the sputtering is deff the jets

  10. w up welcome new myself here. to tell you the truth if you setup you bike right you'll never have any problems. ive had my shee for almost 2 years and never had any problems with it except once with the clutch because i lent it to some noobs. Other than that nothing, i just recently tore down my engine because i want to setup for racing and the stock cylinders are practically brand new and its an 04, all it needs is new piston rings and it will be like new. It just really depends on how you take care of it. a 400ex dont get me wrong is very realiable too, got a friend that runs the shit out of it and never takes care of it and its still running fine.
  11. yea john went out to pismo, so he closed up shop, you might wanna try during this week. maybe give him a call, because this sat he is also going out just to let u guys know

  13. no, i was just another enthusiast rider like every other guy on here, and i john just asked me if i wanted to help out, so i was like sure
  14. haha hey whats up guys thanks for the replies, my name is Chris sorry about the confusion. What i meant is that the porting on the cylinders was done by TSR the guy who taught ESR how to do his porting. yea just call john up to set up an appointment for your 450, unfortunately erick is on a leave dunno whats going down with him after. but yea if theres anything i can do call me up, if its out of my knowledge theres no problem to talk to john about it. ps. hmm i dont exactly know the guy who did the porting on the cylinders these are personal cylinders that john passed on to me well sold them but he hooked me up
