  1. In that case I would try 320 do a chop and go from there. Ryan
  2. Thanks Tim! I have listened to my kicker rattle for the last time! The kicker you sent is in excellent shape, and the shipping was nothing short of ludacris speed. Thanks again, Ryan
  3. Are you ported? Are you running the K&N with the box, lid or lid off? 350 sounds way to rich. If your running a stock motor with the box and lid off I'd say 280-290 depending on outside air temp. Ryan
  4. Hey man, I'm heading down around 4pm or so, you still going? Ryan
  5. Well that makes sense. So keep my dual rates with the top spring, and try a heavier main spring? Ryan
  6. I just got my motor done a month or two ago by HJR, awesome customer service and unbeatable turn around time. I have accumulated a few more, but this is the results you can expect.
  7. If your a two stroke guy, then do it! I have rode the kx, yfz, and the honda 450s. They all have one thing in common, stiff suspension and not to mention how boring the power delivery is. For trial riding, you can build your shee accordingly. All the 450s look the same, I have yet to ride with a banshee that looks like mine. Ryan
  8. Maybe I need to upgrade to some tripple rates with rezzies?
  9. I don't take offense to that at all, thats why I posted the question. I like the way they ride over normal terrain, I think they handle pretty good over potholes and ruts. However when we go out hitting the terraces and doubles, it bottoms out way to easy. I ordered them for a 200lbs rider for +2 arms with mx valving. I figured I would be able to jump them better than I can. Would the newer 450 shocks handle the jumps any better? Ryan
  10. I bought a brand new set of works dual rates valved for my wieght and arms last fall. So far they are much better than stock but I honestly think they could be better. Should I go with some elkas or what? Ryan
  11. Hey 421 we are rolling down on the 23rd-26th october. Ryan
  12. Thanks man! Ryan
  13. Ahh, thats gotta be one for the "gotta see to believe" archives thats for sure. It looks like you could have it welded by a very qualified welder though. Good luck Ryan
  14. Dam! so your suspension bottomed out and the pipes hit the ground?
  15. Thats pee your pants funny right there
  16. They are fast as hell. I got smoked by one on sunday! In fact, he went on to win the open class. Ryan
  17. Right on the money. Thanks for the piece of mind guys. Ryan
  18. I will check a few times more today, however I was able to get a squish of .059 everytime, in both cylinders. As far as pipes, I have T5s with an aggressive dune port from HJR. Thanks guys Ryan
  19. Yes correct. I am bending it in an L shape. The domes are off the shelf Noss domes, but this is the third set I have tried, 20,19 and now 17s. All of them had very low psi for the size of domes they were.
  20. Well maybe I miss interpreted on what you guys were asking for. The 12.8 and the 17.5 is the length of the squished part. Meaning I got more of the solder squished on one side, length wise. Are you wanting the width or what? I could get 17.5 on both sides if I kept trying to get the dam solder to fit in the hole just right. I run t-5 pipes and ride 50/50 trails and drags, with +6 timing. Tell me what you guys want and I'll get you the measurements. Thanks guys Ryan
  21. Yes both sides measured .059. I measured them along the plane of the wrist pin. The length of the squish in mm is 12.8 on one side and 17.5 on the other. As far as I know I have a stock base gasket. So your saying that I won't gain anything by changing the base gaskets out? Ryan
  22. Well nevermind on the plastics, I thought they looked white. Does the kicker rattle? How much if it doesnt. Thanks Ryan
  23. How much for the white plastics. Could you send better pics of them, up close. Also shipping, If you send them through the post office the shipping isn't that bad. Ryan
  24. I checked my squish and came up with .059 to .060. I have 160-165lbs compression with 17cc domes, with a dune port at 1000ft elevation. Can I put a thicker base gasket to get the tolerane correct? Or should I just run it? I searched and came up with .040--.045 for correct squish numbers, what should they be? Ryan
  25. Currently I have T5s, dune port, +6 timing, 165lbs compression, stock carbs, stock cages with carbon fiber reeds and K&N pods. Would I see a significant enough improvement, dollar wise, by switching to CPI's and 33pwks with vf3s? I 50/50 trail ride, and horseshoe drag. I need more motor, and I'm debating on a 4mil dune port, but I think that these mods would only compliment that if and when I do. So what do you think? Thanks Ryan
