My ASV refurbs still came with a one year warranty. For $12 bucks thats pretty dam hard to beat imo. I got big hands as well and love mine.? I have the F3 series, if that helps.

I got my asv clutch off of ebay as a refurbished one. It cost about $12 with shipping to get it to the door. There was nothing wrong with it at all. So I bought the matching brake lever for $18 to the door. I love them and they look good too. Did you line the rings up on the little tits on the pistons? Are the pistons installed facing the correct direction? What did your ring gap measure?

I would really much rather have the bore as close to stock as possible. Are your cylinders set up for +4?

Ya, I went to the hillclimbs with Locogoto one time and thought that I also needed to go fast..... However the cub is just not trail friendly, despite what everyone says. I ride 50/50 trails, jumps and horseshoe race. Having more bottom end for the horseshoes would be benificial as well. The cub is just not for my riding style...
