  1. It could, you'll just have to try it and see. Those bolts don't need alot of torque on them. I with Spurdy, I use loctite on everthing.
  2. I'll take that grab bar if thats $20 shipped. Paypal address?
  3. Yes you do, they hold up to just about anything!
  4. T5s and vforce reeds is basically all the good mods that bike has. The boost bottle can stress the intakes boots and cause them to crack, and they add no power at all. You should be able to beat the 660 on that bike if you don't weigh very much and are a good rider. It all depends on what kind of shape its in to determine a price. If its been stored inside and well taken care of $2500. If its kind of beat up and needs bearings, plastic, tires, etc $1000-$1500.
  5. Bike looks good! Your off to a great start on a nice build!
  6. The black pieces bolt onto the frame where your pegs did. Then you slide the nergs over them. If this picture doesn't help, let me know and I will take a few more for ya.
  7. I think your bike looks good red/white. You could put some chrome or polish in there and maybe a seat cover. As far as the timing goes, it is a good bang for the buck mod. DallasGdub has one for sale in the for sale section that is well worth the money.
  8. basically its a stock star with the edges ground off, making them round instead of a point. I don't think you can screw it up if you just round the points off. You don't need to grind off the point between 6th and neutral. As far as it shifting any better, I didn't notice any difference at all. I do think that my spring might be worn out though. Has anyone ever worn a spring out?
  9. The idle screw will only effect it at idle obviously. You will have to adjust the carb tops to get them synched when you have the throttle pulled. Also your signature doesn't show up, so if you want to be a little prick I won't help you.
  10. Unless you know what your doing, I wouldn't let the air out. Those bad boys are under a pretty good amount of pressure. I don't think thats the right way to adjust them either.
  11. Bump for a killer deal on the that clutch setup!
  12. +1 for Tedder! Honest guy to deal with.
  13. I had my rear shock revalved with racetech gold series valving and race tech spring. All together with labor and parts it was over $400. That was with a rear shock though. You would just have to contact works and find out. This is off of their website http://www.worksperformance.com/pdf/app_guide/service.pdf I would still call them and find out for sure what you need.
  14. Is the carb pulling 7 at idle? If so, adjust the carb idle screw. Unless you have tors, in which case you need to order a $40 kit and get rid of them asap.
  15. Maybe some fmf fattys, not really sure whats going on with your motor?
  16. Did you buy your bike from a heavy guy? He may have had them set the shocks up for a heavy rider. You can send them to works to have them revalved and resprung, but it might cost you more than you want to spend. If they are in good shape, you could sell them and buy new ones set up for your weight and riding style.
  17. Pipes and a timing plate will really do wonders. An increase in compression will help with bottom end. I have a set of pipes I just listed a set of T5s in the for sale section if you looking for a good set of pipes for cheap. They are a mid to topend pipe and work well on stock motors as well as ported ones. As far as porting, you will need to take your topend off and send your jugs to a builder. Its not very hard, just buy yourself a clymers manual. Don't take your bike to yamaha for anything!
  18. Talk to a builder and tell them what you have to spend and what you want to accomplish. Pipes, timing plate and either a cool head with smaller domes or send your stock head out to be rechambered. Those mods will be a good start to whoopin the 450s. I would get those mods and wait till you have some more loot saved up to get a 4mil crank and port job a little later down the road.
  19. Are you saying that they are way to stiff? Or are you saying they bottom out on everything therefore making the ride very rough?
  20. I will trade you my t5s and some cash for you cpis. Did you try to bump the timing up? How much compression are you running? More compression as well as timing will help you on the bottom end.
  21. If you pay for the shipping you can try my t5s. I ride in the woods/trails and have a 4mil dune port with 35s and t5s. I get along pretty good with that setup.
  22. I switched from +2+1 banshee arms to the yfz450 arms and wish I would have never done it. I'm switching back to banshee arms as soon as I can.
  23. I talked to him thursday morning last week. Just call and leave a message. I know he has been upgrading his website and computer, that may have something to do with it.
  24. Right on, 1st weekend it is. Are you taking your banshee?
  25. The fine 000 won't scratch you pipes at all. I use it on mine all the time.
