  1. I have a 2003 banshee with thunder pipes, clamp on K&N, lightened flywheel, degree key, trinity head with 21cc domes, 50:1 premix and ride in Glamis area. I have 30 pilots and 320 mains but at wot it boggs, should I try 340-350 mains next?? What about needle position, it is stock needles in stock position right now?? Thanks
  2. When I move the rear of my banshee from side to side it makes a clanging noise. I can move my rear brake rotor side to side a little bit, but the noise seems to come from the right of the rotor (if looking from the back) where the axle and the rotor carrier meet. Could it be a bearing going out or ???? My banshee is an 03 and I have about 16-18 hrs on it. Thanks
  3. Where do you get the flag poles for the dunes that have lights all the way up the pole? Thanks
  4. I will try the 40:1 ratio and do a plug chop. I am sure it is oil and it happens all the time I am riding. Thanks
  5. I have a 2003 banshee with thunder pipes 2 into 1 carb K&N clamp on and +4 degree key. I can ride about 2 to 2 1/2 hours on a tank of gas including the reserve with the 2 into 1 carb. Would the 28mm mikuni flat slide carbs get better performance than the 2 into 1 carb and possible better fuel economy or the keihin 28mm pwk? Also what would be a good mod to go with next? Thanks
  6. Anyone have any suggestions I could try. I also use yamalube premix 32:1. Thanks
  7. I have a 2003 banshee with thunder pipes, trinity coolhead with 21cc domes, +4 degree key, 2 into 1 carb with 34pj (175 main & 48 pilot), K&N clamp on. I ride at imperial dunes and I always have the problem of alot of oil comming out the exhaust tip ends and where they connect. It runs good WOT and OK on the low end. Gas consumption seems a little high and it does not foul plugs. Any suggestions on what I could try to fix the problem. Thanks.
  8. I ride at glamis. Would it be better if I got rid of the degree key?
  9. I want to purchase a cool head but do not know what dome size to buy. I have a 2003 banshee with thunder pipes, k&n filter, +4 degree key and boysen reeds, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
  10. What are the advantages or disadvantages of getting a lightened flywheel. My banshee has pipes, 2-1 carb and boyseen reeds. I ride the dunes for fun, will this help me much? Thanks
  11. I did find some gas running out of the carb also, after I rode it there was excess oil all over my exhaust tips. Could my reeds or ported cages have anything to do with this or would it be the jetting. Thanks
  12. I have new reeds and ported reed cages. One other thing I am concerned with is the gas consumption. It took less than 2 hours of trail riding to run completely out of gas, including the reserve. Could this be because of the fat jetting or would it be something else. Thanks
  13. Thanks for your help, I will try your suggestions.
