    This guy is a douche

I can't make up my mind whether I'm more pissed about what he did, or more cracked up about the way he looks!
  2. I'm sorry to hear that your buddy got hurt like that, he is also in my thoughts and prayers.
  3. That sounds good too, I really appreciate the great tips guys! Where I ride at has alot of brush, stumps, and fallen limbs through the trails which can wreak havoc on an axel finish!
  4. Guys I would, but I deleted my account with them a few months back. I'm thinking about signing back up though.
  5. Thanks man, I hadn't heard of that before but it sounds like a great idea. Is the heat shrink black? If so that should look pretty good on there.
  6. I know it's an atv and it's going to get some battle scars, but does anyone know of some way to remove scratches from a stock axle? I have several very noticeable ones and tried buffing them out to no avail. ( they are dark scratches and stand out ) I was thinking of using some fine steel wool, but with the bright finish on it I'm scared that the metal underneath may be darker and wool might make things worse. It's something I can live with, but just wondering if anyone knows a fix for this. Has anybody tried the wool?
  7. I don't use them either when riding quads. I listen to music in the truck to help pass the time from point A to point B, but when I'm riding my Shee I'm focused on the undistracted thrill of the ride! You have a good point about being aware of other riders too.
  8. Did the driver that snitched on you guys call about the construction site riding or just because you were riding on the road? I'm guessing the former because if all that happened over road riding then they must be awful strict about that in that state! Sorry to hear that all that happened in front of your family like that, that is messed up. Atleast you were fortunate about not going to jail or getting fined.
  9. Welcome to the forums man, and nice job on the Shee! And I know what you mean about the list of things, everytime I add something to mine it doesn't take long for me to find something else that I want to get for her!
  10. lol :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  11. I have a Nosshead and I like it alot. I am around sea level and I run 21cc's, and from what I understand 20cc's would be cutting it a little close. You could talk to David Noss and I'm sure he would be happy to answer any questions about what kind of fuel to run for that week.
  12. He should probably insert the word "dust" in between Banshee and eater.
  13. Here in Fla we are required to have a title with a sticker on the quad. I bought an '01 Warrior in 2004 without a title and to put it in my name I had to pay taxes and title fees. I think they said that all quads are supposed to be titled since '03 by law here. Had to give the bill of sale with VIN #'s at the tag agency. If you ever get in any hot water on your quad here the sticker is usually the first thing they want to see.... (trust me) ::
  14. Well I found the shifter on RMATV, but the one they sent me is different than the one that was pictured. The one shown on their website had a grooved, round shifting peg with diamond shaped etching along the top of the lever. This one is more plain, but I like it alot. I think the flat end of it is pretty cool. You may have one like I thought I was initially receiving.
  15. Updates? Just curious what ever happened or how it's coming along.
  16. Usually when I work weekends it's on saturdays. What kind of messes up my one day off is my shift starts so early that it's like I'm getting up for work in the middle of the night, which means I have to go to bed in the late afternoon to get enough sleep. I should be off memorial day, and I may be able to make the ride, but I would have to leave early because it's on a work night. If you guys are camping over from Sunday to Monday, I might could be there Sunday for a full day.
  17. Looks great, man. Has a kind of satin nickel finish look to them.
  18. I'd be in for a good day of riding. Only problem is my job schedule, I've been working alot of hours for the past month or so. Here lately they have been wanting me to work alot of weekends. I never know about weekend work till close to the end of the week, so I can't definitely say I could make it.
  19. In my opinion the stock silver sets it off pretty good, but I also think a matching blue frame would look good also.
  20. Your right about that, dragbanshee. There's also the option of an E.H.S. outerwear lid. They work pretty good also. It's like running an open airbox while deflecting the dust and water.
  21. lol Your right about the avatar, MJ. I was browsing the threads the other day and my wife walked by and happened to see your avatar and she said AAWWWWWW, look at the kitty!
  22. I like the motto on the package, Banshee "fear no gear" shifter! I installed it right after I got home.
  23. Well I had a couple setbacks and got a little delayed on my shifter, but ordered it monday and just got it in today and installed it. I like it alot, adds a little bling to the bottom half of the motor.
  24. lol That's pretty good, nayr! Now ah gots to git offa here, or ahm gonna be late for work!
  25. Mine are still on like I got it from the dealership. Haven't had any problems with it, but I don't have a whole lot of hours on it due to lack of close riding areas. If I lived on some land, I'd sure be riding daily! But I don't have any engine work, either. I may look into removing them when I do my first rebuild. (along with PORTING!)
