  1. I would get a set of o-rings for them, you can get them at Rocky Mountain ATV for around ten bucks. What elevation are you at? I'm close to sea level with an open lid airbox set-up. I run 32.5 pilots with 300 mains with my Fatty's. And the pipes will make a big difference over the stock ones
  2. Throttle overide system. The big things on top of the carbs, they are designed to cut off the fuel flow if the throttle sticks open. Over time they are said to sometimes cause trouble, so alot of people remove them before they have a chance to malfunction and cause mechanical problems.
  3. Sorry to hear that happened to you. The worst I've had done is it popped and a piece dropped into my glove. That hurt pretty bad, but I can only imagine how bad it would hurt going in the ear! Hope you get well quick, man.
  4. Haha, "Different Strokes".... I haven't seen that show in forever!
  5. LOL.....BUSTED!!
  6. Yeah I think that if you have the room for storage you should just keep your Shee and get another quad. I got my Banshee first, and later I wanted a four-stroke for trails so I got a Raptor. It's awesome to ride, but sometimes I want nothing less than to scream around with the Shee.... there's definitely no replacement for that! I think you'll regret it if you trade.....
  7. That's not bad at all. I've looked around for a local chromer but can't find any close to this area. In the future if I decide to have mine done I'll give them a call and make arrangements to ship. Thanks for the info
  8. That's a good price, and they did a great job. How long did it take for them to get there and back?
  9. wittle350 that kickstarter looks good, very unique.

    Splinters!

Pinocchio and his girlfriend are in bed, doing what wooden puppets do, when she suddenly sighs. He asks her why, and she replies, "You
  11. Sorry to hear your bike got stolen, hopefully it can be recovered. That thief needs to be caught and prosecuted....
  12. Yeah there's definitely nothing else like the power delivery of a 2-stroke, night and day difference from a 4-stroke! Sounds like you got yourself a real nice bike, congrats on the ride
  13. lol, chin strap... that's the first time I've heard that one!
  14. lol, that is a good one!
  15. Nice Shee, man. I like the red and white colors, too.
  16. Well according to the Noss site chart, 20cc domes at 1000 ft puts out around 156 on compression. So you may get by with those on pump gas.... but with the +4 timing I'm not sure. Maybe someone else with a similar set-up can chime in on the 20's, but I'm sure you'd be safe with the 21's. And myself, yes I think it would be worth it. I haven't tried any different sizes in domes, but I liked the improvement with the 21's over the stock head.
  17. In my opinion it is. 22's are about like stock, and when I went from a stock head to a Nosshead with 21's it made a noticeable difference. (bottom and mid) I was happy with the purchase.
  18. +1. I'm close to sea level with 21's so it should be fine at your elevation. You'll notice the difference in compression, too.
  19. Welcome to the HQ, man.
  20. Black
  21. Man that's pretty cool! I like the vintage bikes too, Thursday I picked up a 1975 Honda CB 360. Needs a whole lot of cosmetic stuff done but it runs and rides great. I got it to mechanically tinker around with, and ride around the neighborhood....
  22. Sorry to hear you got layed off, man. The economy is bad. I work in the mining industry and worked 60 to 75 hours a week for years. The overtime gradually tapered off, now recently they told us we aren't allowed anything over 40. Now there are lay-offs happening in this industry also.
  23. I just use the Yamalube SAE 10W-30.
  24. Welcome to the HQ, man... and those are some really nice quads!
  25. Congrats on the races, man. Sounds like Shee's running great!
